Hi there, we'd recommend just slowly introducing yourself to your corn snake. If you go in and grab the animal, this could result in unwarranted stress. Our approach would be slow and steady. Start by placing your hand into the enclosure and get your snake used to your hand once the snake is comfortable it should remain out in the enclosure while your in there. Without seeing your enclosure we can't make a Full assessment, but, if it's quite sparcly populated with decor, try adding more hiding opportunities in there, the safer your snake feels the quicker it will become familiar with you :) hope this helps 😀

No, they aren’t. Heat Projectors are arguably one of the most mis-sold pieces of kit we see in herpetoculture. There’s nothing “better” about them, unfortunately.
