Thx! Yea a lot of places are like that. I assume one day we will be to and I’m ok with that. This little piece of property here has no acorns and I try to keep bait here all the time ,but when acorns fall u just compete with them. And yea I already fixed that date 🤣👍.

It has a lot to do with the minerals they need ! Corn is sugar to them it has no supplemental value and no benefits but energy and warmth from the carbohydrates. If they get the minerals that they need from certain acorns and browse they don’t need the bran and won’t hit it ! Wheat shorts is good too and seem to always hit it ! It’s a powder like the rice bran and used to feed pen hogs to fatten them up. You can get it at most feed stores or coop’s

Appreciate The info Mark. I said in the video maybe it had to do with nutrition or something they lack in minerals ,but I took it out because I just wasn’t sure.

That 10 wasn’t playing lol. Super nice 8 pt. They don’t eat plain rice bran much here, but they love JA Feed Ultimate Grub (Nut Grub)…. But overall corn gets devoured and it’s a little cheaper. Great comparison

Thanks! Yea i use nutgrub sometimes but they seem to really like rice bran and it’s cheaper. This year rice bran was cheaper than corn.

I wish I would have put this in the video but I forgot. If it rains just normal the top of it will crust over and deer will hit it and fresh will be under it. If it rains really hard for a while it will get moldy and clump up. But usually it takes a lot of rain.

Yea kind of but throughout all the game cam vids they were eating out of both piles. So I just said 50/50. But they were a little bit more after the corn.
