The epic journey of 5 real life warriors has begun again. With a new year in front of them, their hopes of a profitable year go out the window quick when mother nature decides to flood the entire midwest. This keeps most of the midwest warriors out of the fields till late in the planting season. Tune is as they battle the water in hopes of putting even a few seeds in the ground.

Yep the day my wife followed me off a 45 degree hill with the second haycutter I said the same thing very few women out there that can run on the hard stuff I actually know lots of men that won't work on the steep ground the ones that enjoy the farm and the challenges that we face year after year you sure keep

I don't want to be "Debbie Downer", but you seem more interested in the music, kids and families than what it is they are doing to get big yields. I would like to hear them explain how they prepare, what they plant, additives they use, equipment and so on.

That ain't the only place. Here in Maine we couldn't get into a lot of the fields until late June or early July...I couldn't get to cutting wood until July it was so wet

Extremely disappointed to see Dowdy's adds being included as content. Reminds me of the time I asked him a question at hefty field day and he made it a 20min ad for himself. If you aren't going to answer the question admit it and move on to the next question that's what you are getting paid for.

@@CornWarriors I told Mr. Dowdy I had heard him speak at an event some time back and he had discussed the impact if herbicide application timing. I asked him if he could refresh my memory on what his findings were. He told me that yes it absolutely matters and if I would join his group he would be happy to share that information, except it took 20min for him to tell me he wasn't going to answer by way of infomercial. It was a waste of my time then and it is a waste of my time when I watch your videos. I suggest you place advertisements as advertisements.

What I don’t understand is how a major part of corn belt had a really bad go of it this spring, but crop reports seem to constantly contradict the truth. Looks like Kentucky May have had better luck? Who else had good luck? We farm in central Minnesota and we are hoping for a different version of the “Minnesota Miracle”.

Robert Reznik last I knew corn didn’t have gills. Annual ryegrass is the only thing I know that can hold its breath for 30 days. We grow it for a living and get 60 inches of rain during the growing season.
