I mean, i'm not like a completely organic grower. But did you ever think to just do what the indians did. Row the rye and then burn the fields after you harvest it. until it and till it in

When you burn, the nutrients in the burned material literally go up in smoke. It also doesn’t help when it comes to building organic matter.
