Too many fans scoreboard or just stat watch the game instead of truly watching the game. Nebraska was the far superior team and it was their lack of 3rd down conversions as well as Purdue converting more on their 3rd downs, that slowed the game down and had it 0-0 at the half. But when you look at LOS play and skill talent, Nebraska still to me looked like a 18-25th ranked team. They will continue to get better as this HC doesn’t shy away from addressing the concerns.

WSH ran up 500yds on Rutgers yestrday, who only had 300yds themselves, yet won. NEB will be favored, but anothr awful half like today's might well cost us the game. My prediction: 28-21 Nebr 🌽🌽

Went to this game at Purdue, drove 2 1/2 hours, and at half were stressed… but what an awesome 2nd half! That place had a ton of red and the energy in that stadium started feeling like a home game!

I agree Rutgers is significantly better than Purdue; however, they only survived a middling Washington team cause Washington's PK missed 3 FG's so I'm not sure how good they really are.

I went fishing at halftime and after getting all loaded up and on the road to go tuned in the radio and it was 7-3 Nebraska....then we crack off 21 points and 7 of those from Defense ... needless to say I had a nice drive to my favorite fishing hole and cast my first fly when Dylan took a knee to run out the clock ....talk about a tale of 2 halves......wow. Next time we get into trouble I might already have the gear in the truck ready to go....oh I had a really great day Trout Fishing....caught my daily limit of Brookies in no time at all.

If you think it was up and down watching it from home.. I was at the game. It would spit a little rain for a couple minutes then stop and was super muggy the whole time. The sun finally came out in the 2nd half but was still muggy. Clouds started to roll in near the end of the 4th quarter and with it came a little bit of a breeze to help. I stayed for the whole game even as the rain was coming back in. As did most Nebraska fans. I have video of the section I was in at 4th quarter.. Lots of red!! This was only my 2nd game to actually make it to and definitely a lot more red than my first game (The Michigan State game we lost in overtime under Frost a few years ago) One of these days I will finally make it to Lincoln for a home game!

Rutgers is winnable. Washington missed 3 field goals last night and lost by 3. Unfortunately we cant make field goals either. Rutgers RB has to be stopped to win next week. One more note. Indiana 5-0 but look at who they have played.

It's a bad thing when you have to try and convert on 4th and long because you can't trust your special teams to both make the FG and to keep that kick from getting blocked. No me gusta. I watched Wyoming play and with Bohl gone, it's a rebuild project, but they really value getting good kickers in Laramie.

Hey Connor, how’s it going? Am I built different than the rest of the Nebraska fans? Because I saw this as a great game for Nebraska a great win and a statement. Everything you said about the kicking game is true it’s abysmal. It’s gotta be the worst in all of the NCAA right now. I don’t think there’s a team struggling as much With the kicking game as we are, I could be wrong. You know I work a full-time job and have a family so I don’t just sit here and look at stats all day long like a lot of other people but for those people that are lucky enough that their job is football you know if you have the time look up and see if anybody is worse than Nebraska in the kick game. With that being said, this is exactly what I was talking about in the first Three games for Nebraska. I would much rather our defense be strong throughout the entire game and have a low scoring game until the second half and then seen Nebraska turn it up and run away with it. That’s the type of football. I wanna see I’m not a fan of the opposite where Nebraska turns it up in the first the second quarter and then they don’t do shit the rest of the game. Those type of games are the ones that really make my blood boil. I thought this was a great game for Nebraska. This is exactly what I want to see. I don’t know about anybody else and other than the kicking game. I think overall our guys did a superb job today pulling out that win. This is exactly what I was telling you that I was worried about this game has put all of my reservations about what they are capable of capable of to rest today. Those boys prove to me that when we need them to step up late in the game, they can do that.

Oh man, the only two games that I’m really worried about that. I like causing me anxiety just seeing that they’re on the schedule is Indiana and Ohio State. Indiana is just dominating people right now. That’s a tough team. I’m not saying that we cannot win that game I’m not even saying that they’re the better team. I’m just saying Indiana right now. They look good and that’s gonna be a tough game. And Ohio State Ohio State always a good team. That’s obviously gonna be a tough team Again, I’m not saying that they cannot be beat, but I mean let’s be realistic here. The rest of the schedule the teams are good. They’re on the same level as Nebraska is right now so those are like 50-50 obviously because I’m an Nebraska fan and I feel like we should win them and beat them, but I just feel good about the team right now where we’re at we do have issues that we need to work on but the rest of the season From a fan standpoint from me just being honest with you if we can get enough wins and we can get a bowl game that would be amazing. If that happens I feel like this was a super successful season. That’s all I’m shooting for. That’s all I hope that we can achieve if we do better than that great, but I would just like to see us get in a bowl game and that bowl game that’s it for this year.

First, winning the first half does not win the game. Winning the second half does. Rhule comment was it was not the kicker, it was the center. The snap can and apparently does affect the kick. Now, I follow you because you are usually nor so negative. This was disappointing.

My overall message in this video was that the issue is bigger than just the kicker, it’s the entire unit. (Snapper, holder & kicker) My bigger message was that winning is all that matters and it doesn’t matter how they do it as long as they do. This video was a very positive outlook on the team and their situation, all things considered, so I hope you don’t judge the video on the first 10 minutes of me ranting about the bad before getting into the good!
