I wrote this huge chapter-book-esque peer reviewed paper during my 1st yr after i got my first job after almost a decade of school and was hired originally as part of the History Department, which was one of my two focuses academically-including Political Science. I worked my ass off on this paper that I knew most American's would be both astonished or appalled at the idea that the propaganda about the so-called Soviet socialists was just that, propaganda!

Cornel West is rare in todays world, I love listening to him. He's one of the few people with the balls and the brains to shame Obama and others for ignoring the poor and favoring the rich, while bombing nations for no reason - who don't threaten us in any way, costing us billions that should be going to the poor and education. West not only speaks truth to the powerful in the name of the powerless, he does not cower to money or politics, and does it so eloquently and intelligently that supersedes all balls and brawn, even reducing the President of the United States to a schoolboy in Cornell's class! Cornell West is right, we need to start asking ourselves what would Martin Luther King say right now, what would he think of this matter, and what would he do about it? Some people have not only given up the fight for the poor and underprivileged, they have taken their 30 pieces of silver to trick the poor into submission, and favor the rich (now being rich themselves).

Norway is a Christian country, but that does not make us (yes, I'm Norwegian) moral. Not at all. Very few registered Norwegian Christians are very faithful. Most people don't give a shit about Christianity really (some do). The economy part is pretty wrong. Norway has a much higher overall tax rate (35-40 % for regular citizens). The social democratic (socialist) Labor Party (Arbeiderpartiet) has been the biggest political party here for years. In fact our economy is based on their politics.
