Remember this reply when it comes true. Cornel West PROBABLY will NOT be on your ballot on Election Day. My state, NV, didn't even allow write-ins when Jill Stein ran in 2016. I've been listening to & liking Cornel for over a dozen years. I've heard more than half of this speech several times, more than 5 years ago. As Chris Hedges said, "I don't fight Fascism because I am going to win. I fight Fascists because they are Fascists." I think that applies to Cornel's "candidacy," which I think is ONLY so more people will hear what he has to say, which is OK.

As the disappointing Bernie Sanders used to say, it's not about me, and one person can't get it all done, not even one minority (third or fourth) party. So PLEASE, don't wait until any post-electoral moment to try to form a coalition! Form the coalition BEFORE the elections, form it NOW! I am all for Cornel West. I live on below poverty level income but just donated $20 to CW's campaign. I will not, however, donate another $20 until I see that something is being done to create that coalition BEFORE the elections, with a West-Stein ticket or a Stein-West ticket, no matter, bringing together Libertarians, Independents, disaffected Reps, disaffected Dems, non-voters, and so on, and especially mobilizing the needed candidates for office at all levels; local, state and federal. Because otherwise, it's going to be a lot of rhetoric, beautiful exposure of issues and principles, but no real power.
