See, the thing is I recall that in the first seasons, Flora was actually a flower/plant fairy. It was only when Nick started co-writing the script that they changed her status to "fairy of nature". I don't think she was meant to be a nature fairy initially, especially since she's always used only plant-based attacks in earlier seasons. But then Nick or Rainbow decided that "fairy of nature" sounded much better than "fairy of plants" and decided to run with it, not realizing that they had unknowingly made Flora the most powerful of the Winx and that is because nature encompasses a planet's whole ecosystem. So yeah, no, Flora is still a plant fairy in my book so it's not entirely fair to compare her to Cornelia.

Agreed, Toph doesn’t care much for being pampered and prissy, and actively rejected her families rich lifestyle and embraced her powers. Cordelia loves being pampered and enjoys luxury, but was pretty disgusted with her powers at first and wanted no part of being a guardian. Toph prefers getting to the point and being aggressive and guarded, while Cornelia is dramatic but sensitive to others emotions and knows how to deal with drama. They may share an element, but they’re pretty different characters (even their sub powers are different, Toph can control Metal while Cornelia can control plants).

But I gotta say she is also more emotional even tho she doesn’t like to show it (I need to mention the comics are kinda darker than the tv show and they focus more on issues in their private life as normal teenage girls). Cornelia seems to be a lot more powerful and badass as a guardian in the tv show imo. But I like her in the comics as well (she’s my fav character after will) I just prefer Will a little bit more but that’s a matter of personal taste (it’s very close tho). I know Cornelia is a confirmed Taurus but she acts more like a Virgo in the comics. Both Cornelias are great characters but kinda different.

@Viola Merke I’ve heard that Cornelia was originally supposed to be the leader in the comics which is why she was the most mature and serious in the group, but then they decided to make Will the leader which was weird since Will is shy and insecure in the comics, someone like that isn’t suited to be a leader. In the show it was different since Will is strong, level headed and was a good tactician.

@@FearsomeVoid I totally get what you mean. I also had the feeling Will was quite a different person as a guardian than as a human. I guess turning into such a powerful guardian and being a leader made her more confident and stronger as a person. But as soon as she had to get back to her private teenage life and face everyday problems she became the exact opposite. I guess that might be because of the fact that she was never supposed to be a leader. Fun fact is she is also an earth sign like Cornelia in the comics (Capricorn). On the other hand her personality traits fit this sign very well. she seems to be confident, reasonable and a strong leader as a guardian but deep down she is kinda immature, introverted and very emotional.

Gosh stop comparing this (W.I.T.C.H) to Winx or Avatar. Winx has fucking 10 seasons split into 8 main seasons and 2 spin of seasons in Netflix. W.I.T.C.H. has two and is way darker in its tone. Winx first three seasons are wonderful but it's unfair to compare the quality of two W.I.T.C.H seasons to 10 seasons of Winx. So please just stop bashing other series and enjoy the video. The overlap of people loving W.I.T.C.H and Winx is bigger than you think and degrading one or the other is really just to hurt other people's feelings. The Earth guardian is not really an earth bender as the title states. The Earth guardian controls anything related to Earth such as plants, rocks etc. While the Water guardian for example controls anything related to water, such as snow, ice, water in plants etc. So it's not like in Avatar, the guardians powers are much wider.
