It's really sad, how in Cape Town there is a strong contrast between rich and poor. I'm from Cape Town and it just breaks my heart the conditions people have to live in during the winter while it is raining 💔 I'm glad you got to see that side of Cape Town and show a little bit that it isn't just beautiful scenery but the city battles with deep and real social issues. Which highlights what you said that some people you meet though your area you were living in was shady, when there are areas far worse than the one you are staying in and in actual fact to stay where you are staying a majority of South Africans would feel super blessed to be in that position. 😢 Because the majority of South Africans live in poverty and I'm assuming before you were engaging with people who are mostly middle class or upper class (assuming because they all had cars to pick you up with). Anyway I loved this video and hopefully your experience in the township made you realise how even more blessed you are❤️💋
