These four sets need to be implemented in your weekly riding routine. Focus on limiting mistakes and being as smooth as possible. Do not worry about going fast for these drills, as the speed will naturally come as you become more fluid and mistake-free on the bike.

I’m 61 years old and getting back into Moto X at my local club after 33 years. I did a bit of enduro about 12 years ago and took a bit to get my mo - jo back, what I noticed the fundamentals were there plus many many bad habits.. I love these videos, I watch one of these videos than go out and practice practice practice until I get it right. The most important thing I’ve always believed is to go fast we 1st need to learn to go slow, in other word technique is everything and these video are awesome for teaching good technique and getting rid of lazy and poor riding habits..

Iv been watching many of your videos trying to understand what you mean with not putting leg out in corners but I think I understand now, only leg out when needed for teach better habits and stay smoother. Great videos aj

If its a sx green spring will help for smooth throttle delivery. You can allso tame thr bike by turning the powervalve inside. I know its 1 year late but if you stil struggle it might help.

Aj you make it look easy specially with one hand. Track riding is actually harder than it looks. A lot of physical work, but fun too.

AJ Thank you very much for giving us your time to pass on these amazing tips. Just from watch you videos and practicing these drills gave me so much more confidence when turning on loose and wet terrain! You rock! Any chance you might make your way to California? Here in the Sacramento area we have Prairie City OHV AKA Hangtown. If you held classes here it would be big.

Thanks for the video I have the same bike I bought a 2018 I just wish it would have came with electric start but I wasn't going to pay the money KTM wants for their bikes I got such a good deal on my KX but I couldn't pass it up so I'll deal with the kick-start I know next year they'll probably put an electric start on it

I have seen and been told, even in one of your videos, you should be using throttle from the beginning of the turn, because all your braking should have been done, but it was like you coasted the entire turn until just before the straight then opened up near or even full throttle in every turn.

David Annas it forces you to grip the bike with your legs and rely less on your arms. If you’re trying to hold on at all with your arms, you won’t be able to do the one handed drill

@@AjCatanzaro I wonder if there is more ways to get used to control the bike with your legs. Maybe a gim work out routine, I don't know. I have the bad habit to control the bike with the arms... and no matter how hard I try, I can't change this bad habit 😥

It seems when you were standing up that your weight was a little towards the rear which personally I wouldn't feel comfortable with I'd rather load the front wheel.
@AjCatanzaro
@AjCatanzaro 5 жыл бұрын
Flying Lap Productions look at where my head is when I’m standing. It’s always level with or in front of my handlebars. My weight is very evenly distributed and it’s the safest spot you can be on bike. A lot of amateur and beginner riders feel “more comfortable” with their knees being in a forward position but that puts WAY too much weight on front end

Can you help me today i ride for the first time en when i brake with the rare break the motor fall directly dead is that normal ?
@TheMaster5150
@TheMaster5150 4 жыл бұрын
That can be normal if you break to hard without pulling in the clutch. That is one reason why the motor stalls.
@Freaki91

It can help a little practice on a 2 stroke because explosion in every turn. Makes the bike harder to stall. 4 strokes require 2 turns to make an explosion so are allot easier to stall however they have a way more smooth power delivery.
