Corner Pantry Theft

(Two camera views shown in video) At 3:45 a.m. on Sept. 27, this suspect entered Corner Pantry at 302 E North Street and stole items from the safe. The clerk was working in the cooler at the time of the theft, and discovered the theft a few minutes later. Anyone with information that can help identify this suspect is urged to contact Detective Ganser or Officer Bloomenrader at 394-4134. Anonymous tips can also be sent by texting 'RCPD' and the info to 847411.

No one finds it odd that the safe was just left open unattended; no one comes out when the guy enters doesn't (the door chime?) and the guy goes straight to the open safe and just walks out with the goods without fumbling around (like he knew where it was and that is was going to be open)?

I agree! Does the video show the employee opening the safe and just leaving it open! Maybe police should be looking at his/her friends as well! Also, don't most places like this have cameras in the parking lots? Most criminals are smart enough to cover their faces but doing the same with your "getaway" car would be a little more difficult. Of course this douche probably just walked somewhere. Either way, he should be all set for the week.....$300.....WOW what a heist!
