What a joke this is honestly the laziest group of police offices I have ever seen. My car was stolen and the officer literally told me he didn't need to gather any evidence from my vehicle other than DNA from the handles which he said often doesn't work. He literally told me to throw away evidence because he was too lazy to take it. THEN I found out the ladies at the front desk of the hotel literally had all of the info needed to solve the case (name, ID, Sketchy pics of suspect in my car) The stupid cop literally didn't follow up to get any of this info. I went and got the info because the LAZY ASS cop didn't want to do his job. What a pathetic joke. Rapid City Police should be shut down due to their lazy cops not doing their job... way to build trust in the community.... Lazy fuckers...

My son goes to Knollwood elementary, I also attended there when I was a child, living just a block away on Downing St. I personally agree with Chief Don Hedrick's point on the apartment owners needing to step up. More lights and black dome security cameras would greatly decrease criminal activity in those 2 apartment areas. I remember hearing RCPD funded a few cameras for this? A Go Fund Me type of thing would be a wonderful way to fund a 90% coverage of cameras for the area and I for one would pitch in! Thanks for all your hard work RCPD

hoodies and mask, need to be asked why and take a look at their face. The bike riders that are trolling your parking lot, looking for cars to raid that evening, they do the 2 finger whistle, the raiders then come in and then break in then cutting the alarm withing 3 beeps. Yes they got the loot!!

I’m not in Rapid City. But about 45 minutes to west. Been following this channel for awhile and so glad you are posting again! And to keep us posted is amazing. Not that it comes our way west but something to keep a earful eye and help communities near us with watchful eyes! Thank you talk! BACK THE BLUE! And all the others!

how about the double standard of a white male running over a TEENAGER native TEENAGER at that and running off washing his vehicle then gets arrested and YET hes eligible for BOND? how is that not a flight risk. Already proved by doing a Hit and RUN and washing off the murder vehicle of any evidence. But is that was a native who ran over a white girl he would have NO bond.

This nonsense is typical of our age. Instead of officers acting dignified and professional, they naively imagine that the public would be more accepting of them if they pranced about and shake their booty's to ghetto rap or hip-hop music. How well did that work after the Fentanyl Floyd incident and the defund the police movement? These dumb cops thought they could play cutesy and everybody would love and respect them, but they managed only to make fools of themselves. The cops are more hated than ever. Maybe next time they'll stop trying to follow lame trends that only make them look stupid.
