Finally a C2C I understand ! I consider myself an advanced crocheter but I could never figure out C2C .... this is the first one my brain can comprehend lol!! Thank you ! 💜

Although this is a REALLY COOL version of "C2C", this is not the more popular version that is usually done. In fact this is entirely different, LOL. But still, extremely cool and a very different look to "C2C". The other, more popular, version of "C2C" involves crocheting into the SIDES of the "clusters" so that it looks more like a sort of basketweave. With this one, all stitches are going in the same direction and she's basically only "increasing" the number of clusters on each row. This is NOT 'classic' "C2C". It is very pretty tho.

Hi 👋 ANNOO I missed you so glad you are doing well hope every thing went well with your surgery I broke my ankle this winter ❄️ not fun I had to have surgery on it too . It’s almost all better now . I am finally walking 🚶‍♀️ again .years ago my mother in-law thought me to knit 🧶 we made a nice simple vest and the sleeves were crochet 🧶 I loved making it iI made one for me one for my sister and one for my mom . Although you are technically going from one corner to another with your fabric, this is NOT the classic C2C stitch that is very popular. You are basically doing rows of clusters and just increasing/decreasing the number of clusters per row. Classic "C2C" is worked entirely differently and looks entirely different when finished. This is more like a diagonal granny stitch. Classic "C2C" has stitches that are worked in the side of each cluster so they are facing "sideways", and each row is actually worked **diagonally** from corner to corner (hence the name). Yours has stitches that are all facing the same direction, and are actually worked in a row straight across. This IS VERY BEAUTIFUL tho and I thank you for a lovely stitch pattern. I just hope people don't get confused by you calling this "Corner to Corner".

I can’t believe you’re the only one who’s said this. I thought I’d have a go at it then I looked at actual c2c & realised it was completely different. I am enjoying it and I love how it is looking, I guess as you say it’s done corner to corner, just probably needs pointing out that it’s not C2C
