There are prophetic gifts, but Jonathan Cahn is a charlatan. I went to hear him last time he came to Cornerstone, and bought three of his books, and ended up throwing the books in the trash because I didn't want anyone to be misled by them.

Yes we still sin BUT that is not our identity anymore because of what Jesus has done on the Cross so the Lord doesn't see us as sinners anymore and if we really think about it, sinners are not welcomed in the presence of God. Our body does sin but our spirit is already righteous, sanctified, justified because of Jesus...As He is, so are we in this world. Our righteousness doesn't come anymore from our own self effort and righteous acts but only from the righteousness of Jesus alone so when the Father sees us, He sees us only in Jesus, pure and holy, victorious and more than conquerors. ❤

I did want to ask a question, but I lost track of the dates. I know it might not have an answer, but if God is perfect and needs nothing, why is it that we are all created to worship and give him glory? In heaven, we are told we will all continuously worship God, all day, every day. Why does he need so much worship and glory? Isn't he satisfied just being God? It doesnt make sense if you say that the worship is "for us", for the Bible is full, very full, of commands to "give God the glory" Assuming that we don't worship anyone else, for at some point we would be in heaven, what's up with God's non stop, eternal need for reassurance and acceptance from the lowly humans he made? As a parent, I know the trap if I look for acceptance and praise from my children! An odd question, I know

I am so so disappointed you are having Jonathan Cahn return to your church. Do your own research, don't depend on someone else's opinion. I used to read his books until God gave me discernment which lined up with Biblical truth. Please reconsider!!!
