A refresher of the things I said to so many people. Particularly during covert 19. I work in retail, so many scared and fearful people who needed to be reminded. God has not given us a spirit of fear, so where is it coming from? They let that fear drive them to unimaginable things. Violence, division, accusation (evil speaking). Physical confrontations over a can of Lysol, the last pack of masks. even to the point of threats toward us. Only by Gods grace and His words did I get through that. Today I am a much stronger man for it. Praise God

Pastor Gary, thank you very much for the message preached. It's true and it's of a great comfort that the one in us is greater than the one outside. As far as my personal experience is concerned, during the course of casting out the evil spirits, by touching the demonised person will not cause the transference of the evil spirits over to me or other people. There are times during the course of deliverance the victims may run crazily around, hurt themselves ...etc, they need to be restrained, thus the contact. I believe the evil spirits can enter anyone without the physical contact. I believe if we are protected by the blood of Jesus, and knowing that the one in us is greater than the one outside, under no circumstances the evil spirits are able to be transferred over to us. Of course it'll be wise not to allow any Tom, Dick and Harry to be around during the course of deliverance.

It seems that, thanks to your sermon, at least where heaven is concerned, that the Three Evils, enemies of God have surrendered. The spirit of violence cannot run for office in heaven, the spirit of perversion can only be a serving girl and the evil one decided to repent of his evil ways. I believe that your sermon helped them see that they cannot win the war on God. V-Day is nearly at hand.

So the takeaway is hold your fire and investigate her claims and leave the verdict to Jesus. Let’s see first how this can be turned for God’s good just as He did with Joseph’s brothers.

Such a timely word!! I watched the movie "The Deliverance" that came out recently and immediately afterwards felt convicted for even exposing myself to this movie. I watched it during the day and felt a certain feeling of being "disturbed" afterward that was hard to shake off.. I prayed and repented for watching. I know that God is sovereign.. and in total control, however, as believers, we need to be watchful. The enemy is trying his best to "force" his way into every heart and home through what we see, and through what we hear. We need to press into The Lord even more!

I guess because the truth is not taught in churches and ppl don't think the devil is that bad, so the enemy takes advantage, he disguises himself and weasles into the church . At the 22min mark Gary makes a great point that I hope people get and don't miss. Satan has patterns, tactics, and weapons that never change. His minions reflect him. Satan often disguises himself as an angel of light (2nd Cor. 11:14). And when he's exposed for who and what he is he'll roar like a raging lion and bare his teeth. Watch & LEARN the patterns! You will see them over and over and over again.

The Bible is the spiritual food for the born again believer. A natural man needs food to feed the body for normal functions. If a person claims to be a Christian, but does not have a craving for the WORD, it is a clue that they may not actually be a born again believer. If the Holy Ghost is in you, He will give you a desire for the Word that you previously thought was foolishness. The devil is the one who doesn't want you to take God's word seriously. We need a daily intake of God's Word. David said that he hid God's Word in his heart so that he wouldn't sin against God. Whatever we are passionate about, we will spend a lot of time in. We will also talk about that subject every chance we get. How much time do you spend in God's Word? How often do you take the opportunity to talk about God to the people that you are around?

You said, “never lay hands on a demon possessed person, there could be a transference.” I was just wondering how there could be a transference, if the Holy Spirit lives within you, since a child of God can not be possessed? How could a Christian touching someone get possessed, that would mean any sinner who touched a demon possessed person would be possessed? A demon has to have the persons permission to enter the body. It might be through opening your mind to the occult, supernatural or mystical influences, agencies or occurrences. Deomons are always looking for something or someone to possess. Matthew 8:31; So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine." The demons asked permission to go into the swine.

Our household loves Gary and his teaching - but sadly this is poor teaching. Having been involved in some very dramatic deliverance ministry over 35yrs, I've only ever prayed for Christians - and seen them set free from demons, not oppressing them (from the outside), but infesting (from the inside). The idea that a Christian having a demon is therefore 'possessed' is a misunderstanding of the Greek text used to describe the effect of the evil spirit - better understood to be 'influencing' the believer - God possesses the spirit of the person, but spirits dwell and operate in the flesh and soul of the person. Ps. Gary says, 'The holy spirit cannot share space with evil spirits within a person' (yet the holy spirit shares space around us all, with evil spirits) - but then goes on to warn a believer not to lay hands on a possessed person, as they can get a spirit through 'transference!' So follow this flawed logic - on one hand a Christian can't have a demon, but beware Christian who is ministering to a possessed person - because you can get the evil spirit through 'transference' - so now the ministering Christian gets a demon, and ... the holy spirit ... leaves to make space for the demon? Silly stuff Gary. Evil spirits enter people through 'open doors' - by curses, agreements made and permission given. And yes, Christians can have demons, like they can have physical diseases and sicknesses, habitual sin conditions - all need appropriation of the healing work of the cross - deliverance as described by Jesus, is the "Children's bread' - it's for God's children. Without exeption, the only folks I've found teaching and believing that 'Christians cannot have demons' are people who have never cast demons out of people...
