Michal: to someone who is dirty everything is dirty

Whereas Michal’s DAD Saul ONLY LOOKED like a good king (rather than being and acting like one)… but was a fearful narcissist, in truth. A “majority report” kind of king such as the world produces by the dozens

I looked at how many feet are in 4 miles and divided it by 6. Threw that number in the Strong's concordance. Here is what I got. I look at it that it was a glorious thing. Strong's Exhaustive Concordance carriage, all glorious, stately Irreg. Feminine passive participle of kabad; weightiness, i.e. Magnificence, wealth -- carriage, all glorious, stately. see HEBREW kabad

The Shunamite woman in Song of Solomon was HAPPY that all the women loved Solomon, a prefiguring of Jesus- but old Michal was offended and jealous. Sounds like a character issue, not just a wife picking her husband’s tie and shirt

But don't forget David did have a problem with woman. I agree that envy always creates nasty emotions and wrong responses, and though it is never right to react in such a way, David has behaved in a fashion throughout their marriage that very likely helped provoke it. Michal chose David over her father. She risked her life to save his. The next time she sees David he is returning from his wanderings as King and she is called for and introduced to his new wives and children. That has to hurt. She was wrong to react in that way to David's pure worship of God. We all need to be on guard against such bitterness, but I would not quite boil it down to Michal being a woman of bad character. Like most marital problems, it is far more complex than that.

Kind of stretching this to preach what you want to preach -that Obed’s house suddenly started living righteously, out of fear of the ark, or of God: - (Obed Edom WAS probably Brave to take this item onto his property:) but I think the purpose of this event was and is simply a foreshadowing: first, of God making David jealous of Edom’s blessing - I’m thinking now, just as Paul said the gentile believers will make the Jews jealous & to look into Christ, whom they were initially hostile to, fearful of, and offended by -and neglected looking sincerely into
