33:51 - 34:38 is an absolutely remarkable observation of the last supper. Actually giving thanks at the event that was on the horizon. He was not just trying to tell the disciples what was about to happen, but actually gave thanks.

Jeremiah 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

While this passage is not speaking of Christmas, it is somewhat a parallel to it. The tree is the altar on which many celebrate the pagan Christ-mass, brought to us by the Catholic Church.

Jeremiah 10 verse 1 says we're not supposed to celebrate the traditions of man or the ways of the Heathen's. I struggled with celebrating Christmas because I've learned the origins of Christmas and the Bible doesn't reveal his birthday, but it does say he was born in the 6th day of the month. So it's like we just made up a day. Just my thoughts. God bless.

I just have a doubt pastor and have been confused on the same for a long time. Isn't Christmas an extension of the pagan festival of the winter solstice and doesn't the book of leviticus ask us not to worship/praise God in the ways of the paganism?
@MrBrandyv2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is. The world is darkening. I am trying to find holiness. With all the info available it is hard to believe a "pastor" isn't warning us against this foolishness.
@MrBrandyv2 жыл бұрын
Christ ain't in Christmas. It is paganism and at this point I want nothing to do with it. The Bible warns us not to participate. So unless Jesus wants to throw out the Bible I would not be leading His sheep astray.

@@allennolan cause Jesus wasnt born in the winter of December. It was in Sept of spring. Hence the lamb of God.
@Dep57232 жыл бұрын
But Christ wasn't born on Xmas Day. Cause the shepards don't keep watch of their flock in winter, in the northern hemisphere.

I am sad to hear him support this holiday as a "Christian" day. This time of year was never celebrated as a festival for Jesus. It is completely and totally Pagan! It is the same as Halloween and even Easter. I suggest you watch Jim Staley's video titled "Truth or Tradition".
@rnelson9212 Жыл бұрын
@@allennolan you can't do that. There is nothing Biblical that says we as Christians can take Pagan worship and give it to Yahweh. Nothing! As a matter of fact, when the Israelites did that thousands died (Golden Calf). You can't take a pagan custom and change it to fit what you want it to be. Those holidays were never celebrated by Christ. He was Jewish and participated in and fulfilled and will fulfill their traditions. We Christians need to let go of our Pagan holidays and start practicing the feasts and festivals of God's Word.
@rnelson9212 Жыл бұрын
@@allennolan nothing. But December 25 is NOT His birthday. Everything about Christmas is steeped in Paganism, and began LONG before His birth (most likely in September). I suggested you watch a video either by Jim Staley called "Truth or Tradition" or one by Justin Peters called "Santa". Both are strong Christian men who see the truth about our so called "Christian Holiday". Once you watch 1 or both videos, get back to me on how you defend celebrating Christmas.

Jesus Christ ( Yeshua Ha'Mashiach ) was not born in December, He was born in the Spring ( April ) when the lambs were being born. Hence His given name: "The Lamb of God" The Bible says so, if you were a shepherd, would you be outside in the cold watching your flock of sheep? No, the sheep would be inside a building during the winter. Lambs are born during the Spring time.

It Make sense. The Bible never mention when Jesus was born
@mikeearls30489 ай бұрын
Actually if you look when Zachariah was struck mute it shows it was during the passover. Then Mary visited Elizabeth when John was 6 months in the womb. Then go 9 months more and it brings the time to December...
@IanSRutter9 ай бұрын
Christ was not born at Christmas. Shepherds in Israel typically shepherded their flocks outdoors from March to October. This is because the weather during these months is mild and there is ample pasture for the sheep to graze on. During the winter months, from November to February, the weather is too cold and wet for sheep to graze outdoors, so they are typically brought indoors to shelters. The shepherds would not be out in December.
@allennolan9 ай бұрын
Correct, although this does not change when the birth of Christ is traditionally celebrated.

I'm sorry you can't put the Messiah in Christmas it is SATURNILA! DON'T DO AS THE HEATHEN DO. JEREMIAH 10 LOOK IT UP! Tree worship, nowhere in the bible does it say to worship Christmas.,.. Praise YAH!!
