Aw for sure. That fatigue that comes from traipsing around with kids on holiday is REAL! It’s so lovely because they are always so excited but it is exhausting. 🤪 My best memories from growing up were from our English seaside holidays though, perfection!

Cornwall is our happy place but we haven't explored this end of it yet (unless you count when I was in the early stages of pregnancy with my eldest and felt SO sick on all the wiggly roads). It looks so beautiful there - thank you for sharing your day with us. I hope you had a relaxing week there, it's definitely made me want to take my girls a bit further than we normally venture.

We went to St Ives for new year and went to some of the same beaches as in the video.....Cornwall is beautiful! St Ives is brilliant for a family New Year’s Eve btw, massive fancy dress street party, we will definitely go again at that time of year 😊🥳 x

We couldn't believe how beautiful it was down there. Just absolutely stunning. That New Years Eve celebration sounds so fun. We didn't make it into St Ives and I was so disappointed. We went to go one morning and we couldn't even get in any car parks it was so busy, so we decided it was probably best to avoid it due to the current situation. xx

I luckily live on the coast but the beaches of Cornwall are on another level..i’ll need to visit at some point, the sea instantly calms me & i love coastal themed gift shop! id have been slightly nervous of going away too at the mo..i just feel people need to be more aware of a 1-2 metre distance..its just gone completely out the window.. i know its not always possible but no one tries anymore❤️

I would love to live near a beach, maybe one day when we have retired or something. My dad is thinking about moving to the coast now he has retired. I absolutely love a coastal themed gift shop too, there were so many in Cornwall but we didn't go in any as we didn't feel comfortable going in little shops. We went in a fudge shop and that was it for shops bar food. I'd love to go back one day and see it properly. I know exactly what you mean. You walk around and a lot of people aren't doing it anymore. Cornwall was busy but we didn't really go to the busy places at peak times of day. The accommodation had loads of procedures in place, like removing all nick nacks, and bagging up remote controls, plus we had to clean it and strip bedding completely before we went so there was no chance of them touching it. It did feel safe. x
