Cornwall Gold And Tolgus Mill | Museum, Jewellery, Tea Room, And More | We're Exploring Cornwall!
Hello! In todays video we had headed down to Cornwall and fortunately as it was a rainy day, we we're encouraged to take a look at Cornwall Gold and Tolgus Mill. If I'm honest with you, I didn't know really anything about Tolgus Mill before going, other than they had beautiful pieces of jewellery, and a tea room serving a breakfast on a miner's shovel. That was soon to change though, as they have opened a museum showcasing lots of information about the history of the mill, and how to turn tin filled rock into jewellery. There were so many interesting boards to read, and machinery and tools to have a look at and really get a feel of the history. After we had a look around the informational museum part, we did a little bit of shopping, and I was amazed at all of the gorgeous pieces of jewellery they had to offer. We then headed to the cafe, which had unfortunately ran out of scones and soup, but never the less, we chose something else from the menu and it was all really delicious! Outside there is somewhere to go panning for gold, a bear building shop, pottery painting studio, crazy golf, and also the mill itself that you can take a walk around and really immerse yourself into the history.
