Very Strange as I lived in Basingstoke from 69 up until 1994. Then moved to Cornwall Redruth. It’s a bit more tamed here in Cornwall I think esp on the roads. 😉

Born in Camborne 70 years ago and grew up there. Lots of fond memories of the skating rink, the coffee bars (Silver Rail and Tonkin's), the hoards of men flooding the town on their way home for lunch when the 12 O'clock hooter sounded at Holman's, the Saturday youth club at the Anglican Church at Roskear and not forgetting the cinemas and great fish and chip shops in the town. Certainly changed a lot since then.

I used to live in dolcoath rd my dad owned KERRIER CYCLES ( nxt to weslyn chaple by tescos), untill i was 8 we moved as my dad was diagnosed with M.S god bless his soul R.I.P DADDY AKA CHRIS MARTIN. Sad to hear that. I lost my dad in November. Camborne Hill was played at his funeral. That was the place he grew up and served his apprenticeship at Holmans.

Camborne is my hometown, I like it here but boy can it be boring and depressing sometimes. I am gonna move away soon and leave Cornwall for good, I don't eat pasties nor do I say emmets so what's the point living here?
