First of all thx for sharing the POV experience with us. What i ve noticed is 1.6 has a high cabin noise and it will irritate on long drives on motorways..

It does has a light steering but I won't say it got stability issues cuz i myself am a owner of altis 1.6 and have driven grande manual too so yeah it's a myth

So how do you feel with its 4 Gear AT , that's major concern buying this car? Does this car have cruise control?

4 speed transmission is certainly a setback when it comes to fuel average in comparison with grande but certainly performance wise its pretty quick (0-100 under 9 seconds). Fuel average in local is 12.4kmpl and on long it can give up to 14-15 all depending on your foot. However the car doesn't have a cruise control but grande has one and correct me if I'm wrong they did introduce 6 speed auto transmission with cruise control in face-lift 1.6X
