I don't think Harvard-Westlake would have scored enough runs anyway, but Corona got a HBP, weak ground ball hit, then a 3-run bomb and that was all they needed. Baseball can be very cruel to the loser. My son's team got out hit 9-1 last weekend but we ended up winning the game on two walks, wild pitch, bloop hit behind 3rd base to score two then a wild pitch to walk it off.

Well Corona is a Public School. When I was playing, Southern Section baseball we had two Pro ball players on the team and we still finished 6th in the league of 7. But still made CIF due to Wins and difficulty of Schedule, that also wasn't even D1 but D2 baseball

Pitcher from Corona has gotta stop grunting . I noticed he only seems to grunt only when he throws fastball’s. He’s tipping his pitches. They’ll notice that at the next level. Great pitcher tho.

@@DinaVideoProductions I probably didn’t do a good job explaining that. If I don’t hear a grunt, I know off speed is coming. He was throwing 90? It looked like 85-87 on the video. That’s probably the angle tho. If he can shut down that lineup, I guess the grunts don’t really matter.

@@ThomasParrish nah, I think it's how he was screaming and flexing at the other dugout. I don't know how he didn't wear one, pretty much all his other buddies either got hit or thrown at.
