The sounds of train/tracks as you leave is so amazing. It hasn't been since the 1980s that I was able to have such sounds with open windows in Canada. Back when we have transcontinental trains, VIA tolerated we spend time in vestibules with the half door (window) opened on top. And our old commuter trains had permanently opened doors (no staff to close/open doors every few minutes betwene stops). Now, it is all air conditioned with automated doors and last I heard VIA no longer tolerates people standing in vestibules. On some of your videos, the wind ruins the sounds but on this video, you captured it so well.

@jasonswaglord14986 ай бұрын
Usually depending on crew you can only order food 30 minutes to 1 hour after the train departed. On hungarian trains atleast. They prepare some things fresh and also review the stock and the carriage if everything is fine and in good condition. Lecsó with the pork cutlet for example isnt prepacked they make that onboard. But not all foods. Some come in prepacked pouches. I had a thorough talk with one of the crew when i was on a journey to Hamburg. But tbh hungarian dining cars are very nice compared to other countries and theyre reasonably priced.
