I love these types of train videos where you can roll down the window to record. They are the essence of the railway in central Europe. A cordial greeting from Spain

@@Europe-By-Train I'm travelling to Gyergxószentmiklós (Gheorgheni for Romanians) from Budapest. I just wanted to check out the train, but I found no information about it.

Excellent filming of a train journey, you don't see this at 35.000 feet!

Amazing report. The Corona is one of the last night trains in Europe to feature a dining car open all night long
@Europe-By-Train10 сағат бұрын
Thank you. Would you recommend other night trains with dining car open all night? Or at least for the dinner and breakfast. I really enjoyed this feature.
@CalinFR8 сағат бұрын
@@Europe-By-Train Yeah, it's a nice thing to have, it makes the trip more enjoyable. I'm going to list the ones with full dining cars that I have tried and/or know about: all of the night trains in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Great Britain and Turkey (domestic), the Przemyślanin in Poland, European Sleeper, Prietenia (Bucharest to Chisinau) and seasonal MAV Adria to Split have them all night long. Also, some of the night trains feature a dining car only in the evening part of the journey or in the morning: Canopus (both ways between Prague and Leipzig), Dacia (both ways between Vienna and Budapest), Metropolitan (both ways between Breclav and Prague), Poľana (both ways between Prague and Nove Zamky), MAV Vienna to Kyiv (both ways between Vienna and Zahony). There may be others as well, check them here: back-on-track.eu/night-train-map/ and then their composition here: www.vagonweb.cz/razeni/index.php?rok=2024

Thank you...we will ride the same Train end of Oktober! Is it possible to lock the cabin from outside while visit the dining car?
@Europe-By-Train2 күн бұрын
Hi, it is not possible to lock from the outside. Sleeping carriage is the last one, then couchettes and dining. In general, it felt safe, but I took the valuables to the dining car with me in my backpack.

@@Europe-By-Train I thought is possible to ask the train attendant to lock it for you. Nevertheless, the sleeping car is at either the very end or the very front of the train everytime. There are no people walking on the corridor, only if they have a room there. Seated passengers are separated by at least one couchette and the dining car

@@CalinFR Hi, thanks, good to know. There are certain night trains, where I would welcome the doors to be locked for me from the outside :) But this one really felt safe.
