Gosh...you are such a good teacher, and I love the look of this ring. But somehow, I just could not get my strips to stay mated when I was adding the bi-cones. I ripped it apart 4 times and was trying ever to hard to be careful with each bead addition, but kept making this mistake over again. So I've decided to maybe try making it with 8/0 beads and maybe 4 mm bi-cones. I know the ring band will be a bit chunkier, but I feel pretty sure I can get it to correctly mate up from side-to-side with 8/0s. Let me tell you, ripping this stitch apart (4 times!) with 11/0s is very difficult. Live and learn.

I love the jewelry you make. Just love everything well have a great thanksgiving day. Thank you for being so patient and going slow. I don't do facebook, so can't send pic. Stephanie, I tried this ring in garnet colored bicones and dark bronze seed beads for my mom’s birthday, awesome! Unfortunately I got a thread stuck and the ring popped. Here’s the bright side, I get to ask something before I try again tomorrow! In the video, both pieces end with the tail and what I thought was the working thread after the reinforcement, but the working thread you’re using comes out of the end of just one of the pieces. I didn’t know how you did that so I added on a piece of separate Fireline to create a working thread, but I don’t think that’s right. Can you tell me what I’m missing? For the life of me, I can’t figure it out. Thanks! I’m sure my mom will be excited once I figure it out 😂🎁
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry6 жыл бұрын
+Lauren Perez Each piece has a working thread. I removed the second one for easier viewing. Adding a thread is perfectly ok so that you have a long enough piece to needle through the beads to add the pearls. I hope I’m getting your question. If not then message me on Facebook with a picture of your piece so I can see where you are 😃

Okay, this is driving me crazy!! Maybe I missed something, but I cannot for the life of me understand why there are a total of 5 thread ends. The way I figured it, the working thread should be one of the 4 threads at the “Unjoined” end, one of the threads opposite the stop bead. Am I making sense? I won’t be upset if you don’t understand what I mean as my language isn’t really that clear, I realize. I just don’t know how else to explain. Sorry if this is a dumb question! At about the 12:06 mark. Thanks so much for all of your amazing tutorials and beautiful jewelry ideas! Wishing much Love, Light, and Great Health to you and all of yours, Always -Rich-

Stephanie, I've tried 4 times. I cant get the pearls to sit on top the ring is not a tight zip like yours
@rm70955 жыл бұрын
I did too when I made it so to combat my issue I sewed both strips together end to end and than added 3mm on top. I did have one problem and that is I apparently went through one bead too many times and ended up breaking the seed bead. Instead of taking it all apart I just added another pearl to the top which covered it up. I just wanted to wear the ring and did not want to wait for be to take it apart and start again...which I am going to do because I know it needs fixed. LOL

+Vickie Vakina Thank you Vickie! I haven’t used Delicas on this so I don’t know how it will work. Might be beautiful 🌻 Try a small piece to determine if you will like it.

Stephanie, thank you as always for doing these great video's your an excellent teacher & have taught me how to expand my knowledge of bead weaving so much, I can't thank you enough, seriously I can't. I was wondering if you want a smaller section of the top (pearl), could you say bring that 16 down to 14 or 12 then add those #'s to each side? Will that work?

You’re so very welcome Pam 🙏💕😊 Yes you can reduce the amount of pearls on the top!

I’m trying to do this ring but when I put on the bicones I’m having a hard time keeping the two strands of seed beads together. The strands keep wanting to accommodate for the bicones down the center and push apart from each other. Any suggestions?

+luckysuz R Hmm...I’m not sure but check at time stamp about 17:00 That is about where I start attaching pearls. Are you pulling across the beads after you attach one pearl/ bicone so the pearls pop up? Make sure you are sewing through the right bead when you cross from one strand to the other while adding your bicone. You can message me a picture and I’ll see if I can help.

Hi am having trouble getting my needle through the beads. I’ll use the recommended thread and needle size. Any recommendations. I have had to rip out everything I did because my thread was Frank.

I’m going to redesign this ring to make it easier. Until then, try a size 12 beading needle 🌻

Beautiful ring, I love your videos.👏🏻💞I have a question, why you use only black thread it’s better than white? Thank you so much
@BronzeponyBeadedJewelry6 жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏😊🌻 I use smoke or black thread because darker colors recede into the background while white and lighter colors will show more in a finished piece.
