Xian Y-20A Kunpeng, CHINESE AIR FORCE - Landing in INNSBRUCK

Xian Y-20A Kunpeng -20240 of People's Liberation Army Air Force - landing at Innsbruck on February 20th 2023 to transport members of the Chinese team of "EDELWEISS-RAID" in the higher Austrian mountains from March 1st until 2nd.
Xian Y-20 (Chinese 運-20 / 运-20, Pinyin Yùn-20 - "Transporter-20"), codename Kunpeng (鲲鹏, Kūnpéng), refers to a military transporter designed by Xi'an Aircraft primarily for the Air Force of the People's Republic China (PLAAF) was developed. In the Chinese aviation industry, the transporter is colloquially referred to as the Chubby Girl (胖妞, pàngniū - "fat girl") due to the wide fuselage and the homophony between the characters between "Péng" (鹏) and "Pàng" (胖).
The official first flight took place on January 26, 2013. The machine was first presented to the general public at the "Zhuhai Air Show" - 珠海航展 Zhūhǎi Hángzhǎn, English Zhuhai Air Show - in November 2014. It is a high-wing aircraft with a T-tail. Four Solovyov D-30KP-2 turbofan engines are mounted under the wings. To date, eight prototypes have been manufactured, five prototypes with CFTE registration numbers 781, 783, 785, 788 and 789 have been confirmed on the fly.
The heavy long-haul transport aircraft should be able to be used in all weather conditions for military operations, disaster relief and humanitarian aid. The maximum take-off weight is said to be 200 tons and the maximum payload is 60 tons.
On June 17, 2016, the PLAAF officially commissioned the first two Y-20s, registration numbers 11051 and 11052, with the 12th Regiment, 4th Transport Division in Chengdu, Qionglai.[2] The ceremonial handover of the first batch of transport aircraft to the Air Force (PLAAF) took place on July 6, 2016 in Chengdu. The production costs per machine were estimated at 250 million US dollars

2017年11月10日，空军发言人表示，歼-20 、运-20列装部队后，已经开展编队训练。

The mountain infantry world championship #EdelweissRaid23 in Tyrol is over, the winners have been determined: 1st place: Team "Germany 1" from the mountain infantry battallion 233 in Mittenwald 2nd place: Team of Jifh Mountain Infantry Bataillon 26 from Spittal/Drau 3rd place: Team "China 3" from the 53rd Mountain Combined Arms Brigade.

All planes from different countries do look alike, where the planes fly with two large wings, jet engines ,rudder, tail flaps, wheels & the nose with radar in it. They do fly with fuel, not electric yet.! Sure they look alike but not necessarily, a copy or a similar version. The C5 is a large cargo plane, no doubt, while other countries like Russia, China are producing their own transporters too, esp, when these countries have large armies & supplies to move about.
