Elsie (Pat Phoenix) is on a mission to discover how Alan (Alan Browning) got the money to buy the garage and she asks Len (Peter Adamson) for help. Ken (Bill Roache) urges Terry Bates (John Barratt) to focus on his studies. Elsie officially opens the garage under Alan’s ownership. Terry tells Ken his Mother is threatening to complain about him.
