I like fish. I think it would be fine to eat fish for Thanksgiving. I would eat turkey for black Friday lol 😂
@kimberlyc8427 күн бұрын
@@ChosenbyGodprotectedbyJesus I grew up on Long Island. We had fish of some sort almost every week. Every year, my parents went down to the docks before Thanksgiving and bought a lobster, crab, oysters, mussels, add shrimp. We'd have a crab boil, fried clams, and my mom would fix the other seafood different type of ways. If there was some kind of a bird, it was usually a duck. I don't think I had turkey for Thanksgiving until I was in junior high school and that was only because my aunt had it at her house. I'll keep my seafood, thank you. Most people don't acknowledge that the first Thanksgiving meals had more fish and seafood than they did turkey.

If I have a MIL like Marie, I'd let her cook all the time since she loves to cook and clean. I'd even offer to cover all of Marie's grocery bills! Debra has to put up with Marie's meddling anyway. Might as well suffer with good eatings. 😂 And I'd let Marie babysits all the time too since she does love those kids very much. Living across from Marie is not easy. Might as well make the best of it. 😂

They were never "sit-com characters," they were always real people, like the ones down the street and around the corner. And that's what made it so funny without gags and slapstick. We all knew somebody like that who would have said just that very thing. But shouldn't have. "Everybody Loves Raymond" was the G.O.A.T. of its day!

I don't believe it - my last Thanksgiving at home before getting married, my mother decided to go out of the box, and made fish! She said she'd done her research and that most likely the pilgrims had shared fish with the natives. So we got a gigantic stuffed bass. Which was tasty, but we felt completely annoyed and deprived. Especially because mom was a great cook, and we looked forward to her Turkey every year. I don't know if too many viewers related personally to this clip, but i did!
