I remember thia from my childhood. Diana Davies as Norma is wonderful. She was also in How We Used to Live around this time (from my childhood memory) All these wonderful characters I grew up with. Superb writing and performances.

That other person who claims their videos to contain "every episode" also decorates their videos with characters nothing to do with the time they post about. Fiz and Chesney are on a few and the actors and actresses weren't even thought of by their respective parents in the seventies let alone born! I've asked them why but they haven't bothered to answer 🤷

It's not just that they claim to have uploaded every episode it's the awful quality of them all . I was thinking of re-uploading all of the compilations they've done in much better quality but hardly anyone would watch them as they seem quite happy watching the other persons channel. I personally couldn't watch them because the picture is stretched and gives me an headache and they're also very poorly edited.

@@vbt1957 I think people would watch proper ones once the option was available. They're only quite happy because it's the only way to see those episodes. I would definitely rather watch proper ones that are re-uploaded.

Hilda softened as she got older......but for the most part she was a nasty piece of work

@awgroom they certainly did soften Hilda. Her character changes quite a bit in later years. Loved her though. Just wasn’t the same after she left.

They both were. Their youngest two children were taken off them, though Hilda was on the receiving end of Stan’s violence.
