wen i was a kid 1960s, i had the same dresser wid the three mirrors, would spend ages looking at myself in infinate when u got the three mirrors in rite position, shame me ma got rid of it wen i left home

My best friend was an actress and she told me once that if people said things to Jean Alexander like "i loved you as Hilda Ogden" Jean Alexander would say in reply "is that all i am going to be remembered for", my friend use to say to people if they said about her own tv character she played she would reply "thank you that's very kind of you", or "how lovely of you to say so".
