Ed's reaction is very common in the Black Community wheher it's African Guyanese, Jamaican, Trinidadian, and African American Community. I don't condone Ed but he feels that James has it tough enough as a Black Man but being Gay isn't something you shout from the Rooftops. Even today with the exception of L'il Nas there isn't a Openly Gay Black Man in Show Business in terms of Acting. Luther Vandross, Andre Crouch (The Gospel Singer) and even Smokie Norful (Another Gospel Singer) had to keep their sexuality on The Quiet.

laminage Billy Porter is certainly changing things in show business. Also Colman Domingo is out and proud, he was in Candyman, Lincoln, Selma. There are several out black actors that I can name without even googling.

@@josephjohnson329 Yes, you are so right on about that. I still remember seeing Paris Is Burning (1987) and it was a brilliant groundbreaking documentary. The guys you mentioned are also fabulous but in America a lot of Athletes admitted they kept their sexuality quiet back in the day. Did you ever read the Books by E. Lynn Harris or even James Earl Hardy. They are fantastic and thanks so much for reminding me. I also feel that maybe Ed is scared that maybe James will get attacked and his burgeoning Football Career would end before it even took off. Did you ever see the UK Series Footballers Wives where there was a Soccer Player who had to hire a Guy to spend time with him and he stole from him, or when he went and Stole Gay Magazines from a Store and the Manager Hazel Kent did Damage Control. The Convenience Store he "Stole" from had alot of items that passed the expiry date. I just saw this Documentary about Frankie Lymon that was filmed in the 1980's and I bet some of the folks in the Documentary that were Interviewed were Gay. The guys are so fortunate and blessed to be able to be out and proud.

Doesn't Billy remind ou of the US Rap Star/Actor TI. I still hope that eventually they bring back Paula's Daughter Isla and her Son James on The Show.

The new law would require a court order that would be made in a state court and then the court could be asked for the same decision as a judge in the same way that a judge can appeal an order to a judge to order the government of a particular

I know black people are far-more likely to be homophobic than white people (if we’re just going to be real and call a spade a spade) but Ed.’s character is too-buffoon-ish and poorly-acted to pull this off convincingly or without wanting to hate him even-more.

Whenever James (the gay football player) comes on, I have to turn off the sound and close me eyes, and wait for another story to come on. The gay footer story line is pathetic!
