Des has a very short memory. What happened with Steph nearly destroyed him, then he does the same thing to Raquel....Not a great fan of hers and I would absolutely NOT be such a pushover, but Des was plain nasty. As for Tanya...no words. 🤐

Love Tanya, at least she's real. Look at how old skinny minny man face treated her and the rest of the bar staff only a few months back. Writers making out her character is a "poor innocent kind soul" my arse, she's a twat 😂
@willowj.1147 Жыл бұрын
Poor Raquel. She may not have been the sharpest pencil in the box but she didn't deserve what Des and Tanya did to her. Thank goodness she had Bet's shoulder to cry on. They both really were the pits. Des, a Grade A knobhead, pursued Raquel and lost interest in her the minute she gave in and went back to him. And then we have Tanya, a downright all-around manipulative, pathelogically lying, nasty cow! They deserved each other. I bet the actors really relished this storyline. They all played it so well.
@MarcoNegrisEye Жыл бұрын
Not saying anyone deserves that but that balloon of a woman was forever looking down her big hook manly nose at Tanya especially only a few months back. I just wish it made her leave the soap so I don't need to listen or see her 🙉🙈
@shylinh593911 ай бұрын
Tanya was manipulative and merciless, Des was just an idiot who became obsessed with her and, however unfeasible, thought she wanted him too. Also, his mental health was probably being increasingly compromised from living with a whispery voiced, deluded halfwit. Bet must have lost her powers of reason when she told Raquel she wasn't stupid, she simply doesn't look for the bad in people. But she doesn't recognise it when it's staring her full in the face and ridiculing her, either. So she's a tender and harmless halfwit, then.

Judging by what Deirdre said about getting Ken out of her life for good, well that seemed to go the other way. The more she tried to get Ken out of her life, the more he present he was in it. I think they, eventually, realised how much they missed each other. Between their first and second marriage, they'd both tried to move on from one another by having relationships with others (Samir Rachid, Jon Lindsay, Denise Osborne and a several others), but when all those relationships fell through they eventually went crawling back to each other in 1999.

I always thought Eva Pope who plays Tania was an extremely attractive lady, very unusual looks. The looks many actresses would love to have, because she could play so many types & nationalities, Italian, French, Spanish, Iranian, so many in fact. Eva is also a very good actress to play such a vixen, a shrew with such venom that everyone hates her ( viewers i mean) I once saw Eva Pope on a tv talk show like Loose Women type & she was totally different in reality! She came across as a really humerous, witty & intelligent person, very warm & laughed alot with the other guests She talked of her role as Tania in Corrie & she got quite scared as people came up to her outside & swore at her, she was even pelted with eggs from some housewife in the supermarket That proves to me how realistically she played her part. When viewers get so carried away as to believe she really was Tania outside the show! I guess its the same for other actors who have taken on villainous roles! I think Brian Capron who played Richard Hilman in future Corrie was villified, also Mark Eden who played Alan Bradley also told of people shouting abuse at him in real life. All credit to them for being such good actors that they convince us their character's are REAL! Ive often wrote comments on past episodes of Corrie about how id like to throttle Mavis Her role is so aggravating & annoying, but Thelma Barlow in real life is a wonderful person! Shes confident, classy, arty, with a beautiful, lowish in timbre cultured voice. She is the absolute opposite of Mave the Rave & she once said shed also love to throttle Mavis AND Derek! All great fun, but these actors in shows like Corrie are a dying breed! New actors are taught in a different way than the old school members of Corrie They are in my opinion, lightweights in comparison their characters are flimsy & boring. These current episodes are really good, great acting & brill story lines! Im enjoying them so much, as its downhill after the next 6 or 7 yrs Thank you loads to EHS for bringing us such enjoyment Your channel is so dedicated & appreciated 💗 🇬🇧👧

@flumpaustin19948 ай бұрын

@itallia666 Жыл бұрын
What puzzles me is, about Jim hitting son Steve about going to the races with Jims old army croney, is that Jim blithely gave permission to Steve the 1st time he went to the races with his old pal. Maybe it was because he asked Liz for £500 on Steves 2nd visit For betting money The fact is, it was Jims fault for introducing his son to the gambler & ALLOWING him to go to the races un the first place Also when Steve comes back from his 1st trip & goes into the Rovers with his £250 winnings Jim & Andy are all praising & congratulating Steve I find Jims attitude & hitting his own son appalling! It was ALL Jims initial idea & HOW the hell he can go ballistic The 2nd time Steve goes backing horses? It makes no sense Jim set a terrible bad standard in the first instance! Yet Liz sticks by Jim??? They are all loonies Cheers 🇬🇧👧
