The funny part of the whole Deidre and John storyline is how smug Deidre is being about what the new house has and all the bragging with her friends whilst playing the excited but blindfolded teenager. Corrie was quite clever in many ways. You could vaguely feel sorry for Deidre knowing she was being conned but then you had to shake your head at her naivety and stupidly whilst she was bragging like a kid about showers and gold cards. It was quite funny.
