This return of Terry sees a marked change in his character. He was always a bit sly, but was hardworking and had a heart of gold. Remember his concern for Hilda after she was burgled? This time, the writers have removed all of his positive traits and left us with a thoroughly unlikeable character.

Sally & Kevin are the "reincarnation" of Stan & Hilda Same types, i quite like them but feel the carefree ebullient Sall is somehow diminished since she got married! Shes transformed into the carping house proud busybody like all the other married women in the street! I ageee about Don Brennan, hes the polar opposite of lovely Bert Who was honesty itself, loyal & gentle & would help anyone without charging them & give you his last quid. Don is indeed aggressive & confrontational! Expects others to buck the system & underhand dealings What Ivy saw in him is surprising & maybe she was desparate to remarry in her approaching advancing years. Don is too worldly for Ivy, hes out to make a fast buck & hes too quick to anger if things dont go his way. Im totally off mavis & the prick Derek, its been too long drawn out over the years & follows the same old format with the selfish prick using stupid mavis then dumping her Id not give a hoot if both of them disappeared forever never to return! I cant stand them & think the storywriters bring them out, shake off the dust & cobwebs whenever theres a lull in Street life! Change the record! There are alot more disagreeable characters in Corrie at present & its feeling like its the start of the fall of Corrie Leaving us with the old chestnuts of boring Ken, mave & derek, dreary boring deirdre, even droopier M-lee, vile Phyllis, strutting self aggrandizing Percy, In fact the only good things in Corrie here, are Bett & Alec Audrey, Mike, Curly & Shirley The rest are predictable & have lost their flavour years ago Even Jack & Vera are becoming boring & same old, same old! I may cut out here, I've faithfully watched every video of episodes since 1960 but now im feeling fed up & jaded by these awful episodes I may jump ahead a year & see whats what... Thanks to PG 66 for all ive seen of past Corries but think im coming to the end of the road. Cheers 🇬🇧👧
