I shudder at the possibility of Bobby testifying against Roy by telling the court he saw Roy cleaning the flat[as a favor for Evelyn]and therefore was 'hiding 'something.'Bobby is the one who I think has something to hide as he's been front and center making sure that the police focus on Roy or Daniel so they won't suspect him.

You do realise these storylines are based off real things that have happened. There have been people who just like Roy who have been accused of murder but they haven't done such a thing. Depressing this storyline is, this is going to hopefully spread awareness of this very issue. Even though you are mad at how they've put Roy down as a so murderer, it's to help those out there. The police jumped on that very quickly. I have watched "True Crime, Killer Britain," as well as other True Cases of suspects going on with their lives for 15 to 20 years before being charged with a crime of any kind in the UK -- this does not seem to be an accurate portrayal of logical events from real life crimes.

There doesn't necessarily need to be a body to charge with murder but there's no other evidence. Roy has an alibi that's been ignored. This is a poorly written story.

I really hope Roy does not turn out to be the killer, he is one of my favorite characters and is a Corrie OG. I also hope Lauren is not dead and comes back, I hope she has a flourishing relationship with Carlas Nephew as I was hoping throughout their interactions getting more loving right before she disappeared. But that is life for you, I know this is just a TV show but damn, it has been doing everything it can to hurt the viewer from Peter leaving the street to Daisy cheating on Daniel with Ryan and hurting Bertie to now this, losing one of the best newer characters and not knowing if she is dead or alive on top of Roy being accused of her murder :(
