From the inspirational leaders, Peter Bellew is not one of them. When airlines' personnel are getting fired, he can't bother to write his own speech. How much is EasyJet paying this lazy executive?

Shameless. But Varadkar's speech not super original. Bits of Churchill and others in there.

@@flaggerify "And when it comes - and it will come - never will so many ask so much of so few." Honestly, the Irish population are mostly not morons. Is it your claim he should have said: I'm paraphrasing words by a largely unknown Englishman?
@flaggerify4 жыл бұрын
sbranagh1 It’s not a quote from Churchill just a bit similar to one nor does he mention his name. That’s not an acknowledgement. So it’s a tad plagiaristic in itself. The whole speech is full of banal phraseology. It sounds like a trailer voiceover sometimes.
@mjw123454 жыл бұрын
@@flaggerify You have problems with Varadkar, I have also. But if V. had stated: I'm paraphrasing Churchill, most Irish would frankly be insulted. Is V. implying we don't know?

Seems so. For a Prime Minister, I'm not that suprised. For a COO asking his staff to take a 3 month unpaid holiday, benefit cuts and agree to a new contract until NOV 2021, it's a bit shallow to say the least.

I would suspect the politician to be copier since it's in their nature to lie and take other people's words for their own uses.
@Stuart_George4 жыл бұрын
Politician said it on St.Patricks Day (17th March). Easyjet COO said it on 18th March. It was meant to come across as a speech from the heart to staff at Easyjet being asked to take 3 months unpaid leave, and many other changes to their terms and conditions that have little to do with saving money.
