Coronavirus News: Local restaurants in Queens volunteer to prepare meals throughout the NYC

Volunteers and local restaurants in Queens are preparing thousands of meals that will be distributed to the needy amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Food being made at the Sikh Center Temple in Queens Village is a common sight as free meals are always served.
But as the COVID-19 pandemic grows, volunteers are now gloved and masked up to prepare meals for tens of thousands in the city as they deal with quarantine, isolation and lack of money.

sikh community which has its roots from india - they are the most sacrificing and generous people. If you ever have any problem in India or anywhere in the world look for a sikh - they will help even their enemies. But sadly they are considered muslims in most parts of the world and are subjected to discrimination , the turben they wear ( which you think is islamic culture) is actually a reminder for them that no matter in which part of the world you are 0 the only way to practise your religion is through the service of mankind. In their largest worship place i.e The Golden Temple - everyday 10000 people are fed irrespective of their caste , colour, creed, nationality of religion. It makes me sad how people discriminate them due to their islamic looks.
