There has been one thing not talked about, pregnancy and covid could cause a fever or other things. I've wanted to give out you should focus on resting eyes, staying under three blankets and maybe a sweater, as you sweat or stay hyper warm, your headaches could go away for awhile,, also taking Tylenol

I'm a 4 month pregnant health care worker living in Canada. I just wish the government can implement an emergency benefit plan for pregnant women working in high risk environments like long term care, hospitals, and home care during this time so we can stay home. But, I'm just taking it day by day and with the grace of God.

I am giving birth literally this week or next! Even with the pandemic, this is exciting for me. I am 32 and literally thought I was going to just have one kid for life. Now I will have one of each, and someday I will sit my child down and explain how crazy the world was during the pandemic lol. Blessings to all and strength for the journey!

I’m due next week. I asked my doctor a couple weeks ago about work. She told me I can continue to work and working from home would be better. I wanted to ask how she expects me to work from home as a nurse🤦🏻♀️

Just found out I’m pregnant a couple of weeks ago so I am sooo thankful for this. As an ICU nurse, I was very concerned about coming into contact with our covid patients. But my nurse manager has been nothing but supportive and has me in the Stepdown unit for the time being❤️

I'm 35+5 currently [double vaccinated since about 10 weeks pregnant, awaiting eligibility for booster] and had to get a PCR test at the hospital for sudden onset of symptoms. The doctor who spoke with me and performed my test was 29 weeks pregnant and, thankfully, wearing full PPE. My heart went out to her. I cannot imagine the fear, the worry, as a doctor or nurse or medical staff dealing with positive patients all the time. You guys are keeping us together. Thank you so much for all you do

I'm 6 months pregnant and I haven't been outside since March 14th. I don't want to take any chances. I had a bad bad cold in December. It almost felt like the coronavirus. I was able to recover but it took months to get rid of that dry cough. Not taking anymore chances. That was back in my 1st trimester.

I am due this week! Only my husband is allowed at the hospital but the family is anxious to visit when we get home. What thoughts do you have on that?
@annahuynh14394 жыл бұрын
No visitors. Remember your newborn baby has an immunocompromised system. You don't know where your family has been or if they are asymptomatic or if they have come in contact with other people. Better to wait until this is all over, hopefully soon.

My very first grandchild was born at the end of February. I have not seen her in person or touched her. It is extremely painful and sometimes I am so sad not to be able to see my children or new grandchild that I cry, but I understand that it would be devastating if either mommy, baby or daddy contracted the virus. Imagine, a family member is allowed to visit and one or all of the members of your new little family dies? That is a greater torture than not being able to see or hold a newborn family member. I wish things were different. I fantasized about holding, rocking and loving my new grand baby. I will remember the sadness and pain of not being able to experience this precious time, but thankfully my grand baby won’t remember. She will know that her family loved her so very much they were willing to make these comparatively small sacrifices to keep her, and her mommy and daddy safe. Wishing you and your family all the best.
