This is not the first time this woman has aggravated the horses and the guards. Can't they band her from being around them? She always thinks it's funny. It is quite apparent that the horses do not like her. Dealing with the tourist touching the reins and the guard is one thing. But when a local does it over and over again, something should be done.

I never understood why the police always stood around talking in the courtyard ignoring her and didnt move her on. She was a pest. I have read so many comments about this lady, and it's very clear that there's an issue with her behaviour. But I'm wondering if it's because there could be ADHD or just a few 'filters' not quite in place? I don't think she means any harm, she just doesn't know how not to step back, if you know what I mean. Then the 'dislike' starts and before we know it, this poor woman has a Internet following of irate horse lovers. I don't know if anyone has ever spoken to her positively but I truly think she doesn't understand and know how to 'fit in'. Please don't all shout at me now, I'm just wondering, that's all.

This is old footage. This woman received a six month Public Order Ban to stay away from the area because she started doing this everyday. She was becoming a nuisance so they eventually dealt with her.

I would have gone mad if I was that guard. And I think the police are being totally disrespectful here. They should actually get her away and if she won't listen arrest her. She has been doing it daily for several years. She is not quite normal in behavior and she does it with a constant laugh even though she can see the horse and the guard's body language says screw off. But so amazing they are no longer allowed to touch the horse and guaranteed because of this naive crazy woman. But I have always seen it as animal cruelty and was so angry about it. Thanks for someone finally making that decision for the horse and the royal guard. They were not respected at all in their jobs, but regarded as another circus or zoo.😠😡

There have been many comments stating that she has been seen in the last month or longer. Whether this is true remains to be seen. I have not seen her in any of the new videos. She could be staying out of public view but remaining quiet would not suit her. Hopefully, she has not returned.

Sorry. I don't understand why someone at the facility in authority doesn't go to the police and write up a "NO CONTACT" order on this woman. In other words, forbidding her from coming around at all. I’ve watched too many of the Kings Guards, their horses and the police being harassed by thoughtless tourist. They need to get tougher with tourist who have no respect for the guards, horses and police. A barrier needs to be put up to protect the horses and guards so that tourist can’t touch the horses.

Fear not, good, kind people. KAREN IS BACK... but neutered! There's a few videos of her return after a year (looney bin?). She's thinner and a bit mellower. No loud cackle BUT she asks the guard if she can stroke the horse, twice (both times "NO!") and then stands there at the new white line, using her death stare at the guard. Then she starts reaching out her hand for the horse, now out of reach. I won't ruin the ending.
