The second Guard's name is Pete. ***He's the guard who was in he news recently for moving closer to the Down's Syndrome Gent so his carer could get a better photo. I met Pete about three weeks ago, he couldn't be more than 20 years of age, an absolute doll. Pete is also the Guard who sneaks little kisses in for the horses. He's an absolute Prize !

I love that they are trying to keep it together, and they can't because the crowd might be making them laugh funny. Another thing I feel bad for the guards because sometimes they can't laugh even though in their head they might want to. My family came from the UK and fled to the States either during or after WWI, so I imagine that it can be tough with training. I don't know this but are Americans if they apply for citizenship are they allowed to be guards men or is it only for naturally born Citizens? This just a quick question I wanted to ask

One more thing, don't ever piss off the king's guards, and don't ever sucker punch them either; you will live to regret it. I always liked the king's guards and even thought about returning to England to become one, But with my disabilities, probably not. Here is one thing a lot of people don't realize: a lot of special-needs kids are way smarter than people really think, especially if they have been around the military, meaning if they have a military family and are used to it who knows back then during the 13th or 12th century there probably were

The 1st Lifeguards Cavalry regiment , a historic & very senior regiment of the British Army . Originally formed in 1660 .! Escourt to the monarch in transit ... Directly used against the enemy over centuries in battles & campaigns such as Egypt, Boar-war S- Africa. Against the French at Waterloo in 1815 , & in Peninsula war 1807-1814 / , 1st & 2nd world wars, the Falklands war 1982 , the Gulf & Desert wars, the Balkan & Bosnian war 1990s Amalgamating with other regiments at times now known as the Blues & Royals Household division its modern combat role is driving light armoured tanks !!! Its suffered from a IRA terrorist attack in 1982 in London by x2 car bombs attacks at hyde park & regents park x2 cavalry troopers dead x6 bandsman of the lifeguards & Greenjackets & 51 injured & x7 horses had to be put down that had badly been injuredby shrapnel that werent killed instantly !!! So its quite insulting when some ignorant tourists think they are just for some show display like fake Disney characters !! How wrong & stupid they are when thats said .🙄 👌✌
