He looks so relaxed & happy to perform in these clips. It really is hard to imagine the anxiety & stress he suffered from performing in front of a camera. Such a great voice & such a tragic loss!

What a soft beautiful voice he had. In my opinion, he was the equivalent in UK of Bing Crosby. He never got the recognition that he deserved. My parents adored him, they had him in their 78s records.

The sad passing of Michael Holiday left a big void in the wonderful but forgotten now music of yesteryear. He was one of the finest ever crooners and is unforgettable.

What a golden voice 😅

He sounds like a dulcet amalgamation of Bing Crosby, Dean Martin and young Frank Sinatra (without “slip notes” or “Crooning”! Beautiful version of “Old Cape Cod” - Never heard of him before, so thank you very much! Cheers

Not a Bing Crosby impersonator, although he idolised Bing and did his best to sound like him - and did! "Cape Cod" was a mime, but to his own record, whereas "Love You Darlin'" was live, as evidence by Mike forgetting some of the words - even though he wrote the song! See more on www.kencrossland.co.uk/Ken_Crossland/The_Man_Who_Would_Be_Bing.html

Mike hated rock`n`roll...the nearest he sang was "Stairway of Love".....there was more jazz in the movie than rock`n`roll....
