Wear them in the opposite ear with the “ stem “ pointing up and sort of tucked in under the rim of your upper ear. Not only do they stay in they are far less visible. Try it.

Mine usually fall out just as I pass over a grate or when I'm directly over water. My ear-pods fall out 37,123,425 times a day, mostly when I'm on the boardwalk and they disappear in the grass below. I finally found the answer, a G-clamp and a couple of blocks of wood. Superglue was too permanent. I couldn't see with the gaffer tape or the head band which kept slipping down anyway. But the G-clamp kept my ear-pods in for just over 30 seconds, before they slipped out and between the blocks of wood when my ears and the G-clamp hit the floor. The problem is the same as trying to keep a tennis ball in an inverted funnel. No amount of friction is going to keep it there. Anyone interested in tracking down Jonathan Ive, designer of the ear bud for the iPod which is where the rot started? He's currently in hiding do to a customers attempt to force him to use his own product resulting in considerable damage to his ear drum. Honest, I was only trying to help.

A solution I just figured out is to switch or reverse the buds. They sound just as good if not better and fit much snugger and never fall out. I took a year to realize as I accidentally put the wrong one in while sleeping to affirmations and noticed it sounded and fit better.

Honestly I am very surprised that headphones that don't even have those rubber/silicone thingies have become so popular, especially considering such a steep price. Personally I don't think I can even go back to "regular" earbuds without the rubber thingies (oh dear, I have no idea what those are called in English), and it's not even as much about them staying in palce, but the isolation and the depth of sound. The Airpod style seems good for casual stuff like watching videos or listening to podcasts/audiobooks (if you're at home or somewhere else quiet), but for music I don't quite get it, especially as I feel people mostly make use of their headphones in public spaces anyway. But idk, I might be wrong haha

Increasing the Coefficient Of Friction helps me. I moisten a paper towel with rubbing alcohol, twist the corner and screw into my ear canal a couple turns, that dissolves the “wax”. Then wipe clean with a fresh twisted corner. Clean the ear bud the same way. Insert and push them into ear canal for 5 seconds. Now my Soundmate V2s stay in for much longer.

Now this is the funny thing, they stay in my ears perfectly. I have a problem where any earbuds with circular tips, so almost any out there, just don't stay in and instantly fall out. I think it has something to do with the shape of my ear canals, because I will get the circular tip earbuds put them in and they instantly fall out, but then I get flatter shaped earbuds lik what I currently use which is my Samsung Active In-Ears, they fit perfectly. Only because of that flat design shape, because I've gotten in ear canal circular earbuds like the Tranya Rimors, and out the canal circular earbuds sitting like the Airpods, and they both still fall out. But when I tried my friends Airpods, and then like ny Samsung ones that both of them have a flatter tip at the end, they stay in just perfect. So I think it's I have a flatter ear canal in some way and the circular tips just are too big to stay in

I haven’t owned AirPods, but I’ve always only had the Apple wired headphones & for some reason, that shape is the only type I don’t have fall out all the time… I literally just bought a $150 pair of wireless earphones (the kind with the neck strap) that are supposed to be much better as in they block out radio radiation & heavily lessen EMF spikes ect…. Only problem was, they had that older style, round kind of earpiece & I know nothing sits in me ear except the “Apple shape”, but these came with 4 different sized tips, including super small so thought I might have some luck… I’m finally getting them to stay in (needed to put a smaller size tip on one ear) but they’re definitely not sitting or feeling right 😞😞 …I wish ALL headphones came with removable ear pieces & had some universal connection so no matter what headphones you bought, if the particular earpiece isn’t right for you, we could just buy whatever style is & pop it on. In reality, I’m dreaming here, but from a business standpoint, it might be a good move. I think more people would buy AirPods if they could use a different earpiece that’s best for them & more people might buy x,y,z if only they could attach the earpiece that works for them. I’ve always not bought headphones I really want till now purely because there’s no point if I knew the earpiece just won’t work for me. Surely I’m not the only one who’s had to do that 😫😫

Makes sense, i have skull candy and on my right ear i changed the socket size of the earbud and it fits so good. In fact it fits so good that the earbud rubber tip comes off at times when i take it off. While on my left it has the same size rubber tip and it keeps falling off when i do a simple gesture like smile or talk

Airports have the worst design for active people. They're only good for casual-use. I'd recommend the power Beats Pro or any earbuds with hooks or wingtips for a secure fit.

This can be very frustrating; so what I do is wear them in what I call 4X4 formation. I put both earbuds in the opposite ears upside down and the problem is solved. You have nothing to lose so give it a try
