Thanks for your video and reviewing these. Both my ears are the 10% so I bought the earhoox and have the same concerns. So I bought the newer AirPod version of the EarBudi. These clip on and go over the ear and allow the AirPod to sit tight in my ear too.

Thank you for your excellent review. I had bought and returned Apple AirPods last summer for the simple reason that they would not fit in the case with the hook type silicone AirPod cover. These softround covers are exactly what I was looking for because these will in the fit in the charging case and not have to be removed. I am going to Best Buy to buy apple AirPods. I have ordered the softround covers from Amazon (24 pack for $4.39).

I have the same problem, and none of the accessories could fix it. Finally, I find a solution. Just use a double-sided tape for wig. Cut a tiny one to stick on the top of airpods, so it can stick to your ear when you using it. Disadvantages: you have to change it few days later, and it make you airpods a little dirty. But totally worth it!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I’ll try the foams. When I bought my AirPods at Best Buy, I made the mistake of buying 2 pairs. I think it’s a horrible product. I can’t believe Apple made such an expensive product that falls out of your ears very easily-at least with me, anyway; and that goes for both ears. It’s extremely frustrating. They’re also impossible to return.

OMG The foam tips are the hack I’ve been looking for! Can’t believe no one ever told me about it. If anyone with airpod 3rd gens finds this video looking for a solution, I can confirm the foam covers keep the air pods in your ear. Only downside is auto detect won’t work so you have to find foam covers that have a hole on both sides or find a tutorial to make your own holes.

Yeah right! You chose the "black foam covers" as your best option over the others? Hopefully not because the "black foams covers" are the cheapest. You also mentioned that the "black foam covers" can easily be pulled away from the Airpod holes, which in reality the foam will slide right back over the Airpod holes when trying to wiggle the Airpods back into the ear.

Lol They are great buds but they fall out while im cleaningand this is a life changer...my biggest problem is losing my charger case!!!! The little rubber covers that keep the Airpods in your ears really work well, but you can't charge the Airpods with them on. I got them because I'm working from home and on the phone all day. I have to take them off and put them on several times so I can recharge and it's a pain.

I refrain from buying accessories bc to me it’s overkill. Paying almost $200 is enough w/o spending an additional $10 & up. I love music. I was a record collector that had just under 7000 albums & 1000 45’s. I’m on Spotify as much as possible & I feel that the AirPods produce some the best audio I’ve heard in years. In my mind, Beats were a waste of money. The standard wired Apple were far superior to Beats. Now, onward to March 2018. I was thoroughly enjoying my down time listening to music & using my Christmas gift to their fullest. As usual, after an awesome Mexican dinner I had to hit the latrene and expel a buttload (literally) of poop. Normally my “shift”don’t stink but normally my “shit” doesn’t look like “Chocolate Pudding” either. After my tummy was smiling and I was finished I did what every hard working, patriotic, All-American old fart does when his tour of doody has come to an end, I stood up, turned towards the commode, leaned slightly over and flushed away. Before I raised back up to my full upright position my left AirPod bid me a fond farewell and departed my left ear at the exact same moment my “Chocolate Pudding” was spiraling downward never to be seen again. Steven Spielberg could not have timed my left AirPod’s descent into oblivion. even with today’s CGI technology. Knowing that the sad demise of “Ol’ Lefty” was one for the history books I immediately went online & ordered a full second set. I’m currently working in a tiny town in Central Pennsylvania and the closet Best Buy, AT&T Store and Apple Store is 45 miles away & it was a Sunday evening so online was my best & most expedient bet. A few weeks later I picked up a replacement AirPod so I now have two sets and it is well worth it. The moral of this story is I no longer consider accessories a waste of money. The accessories shown in this video would have secured “Ol’ Lefty”. I have been wearing earbuds for so long I forget I have them on. I had the AirPods for less than three months and that was the only time one has fallen out of my ear. If anyone wants to know to replace one AirPod is $69 plus S&H. So take this man’s advice and get at least the foam cover.

I’ve been using Earplus and Surefire. Sure fire was much better. But it’s probably because I use the wired EarPods so maybe it wouldn’t be as great for the wireless ones. I’ve personally had so many different earphones such as Bose QC 20 and Bose QC 25s which were both rubbish and fell apart within a month or two. I’ve also had wireless AirPods which were quite good but I love the simplicity of wired earphones because they’re cheap, sounds great and doesn’t require charging or any extra accessory except those ear hooks because my air is also not suitable for these headphones. By that said, I highly recommend Surefire Ela-s

Do any of the air pod ear hooks/covers help prevent sound leaking and improved isolation? Without any hooks and wearing them normally, it seems like they will leak sound past 50% volume. I am hoping that ear hooks would improve isolation (such as during workouts) and possibly prevent any soundleaks like my former Jaybird X2 and current X3.

The foam covers are what you need. They improve isolation and bass response. The hooks actually decrease sound isolation because they have the speaker sit a tiny bit farther from your ear canal.

One thing I found out when I started using earbuds is my right ear canal is bigger than my left. I have to use a medium size tip in the left and the large in the right. Whenever my wired buds would get broken I always keep the tips just in case. I think I have some foam covers about some I'm going to have to check because my Soundpeats TrueAir2 are about the same size and shape.🤔🙂

The "pod" shape is supposed to give better bass. Samsung and AKG made earbuds with good base by doing a similar thing, exept the bass part is at the outer ear. The hard plastic is probably why, not even really the shape. Lol
