I've drawn a bunch of tainter gates similar to those on this dam over the past 25 years including gates for a project currently under construction. After all these years, it's good to see video of how the gates operate. Thanks for posting this video.

Thanks the the vid.I don't live far from Hartwell Dam and once took a tour of it back about 10 years ago.I don't know if they still do the tours but I would love to go on one again.

Awesome, and it's the US Army Corps of Engineers that are Awesome doing what they do to keep us safe from the flooding without the Corps, we all would be washed up...
