At their own property, for example. They never had to go through with the ritualistic stuff like Bob Dylan. Because of this deal Bob Dylan MUST be a Hall of famer, and MUST be held to the highest regard to the media and others. @blurghgitty30006 жыл бұрын
It always throws me off because I expect their music to be some sort of embodiment of their actual emotions. So to hear him say that he never had anyone in mind when writing lyrics about murder and all that kind of takes away a little bit of it for me. I listen to music like this because I have those emotions and I definitely get those thoughts. There's times when I get so angry that I will start envisioning how I would brutally torture or murder someone, and when I was younger before I spent some time in a mental hospital I was very violent and quick to fight. Listening to music like this helps calm me down ironically. I'll just turn some heavy shit on in the car on my way to work and yell, scream, or growl as much of the anger and hatred I have for life and people out to hold me over for the day, help me not just grab someone's head and start bashing it into a table or something. I think it's very similar to the feeling you get after a very good workout when you feel absolutely exhausted and your entire body is sore. You walk away from that and you feel a little better about everything around you, I feel like I worked some frustration out of my system so I can focus more on the better things in life.

I've never listened to CC and I'm not really aware of their music or their genre even though I'm a big music fan with a wide range in taste. Having said that, I genuinely enjoyed this interview. It's crazy how when were were kids, these type of bands seem so scary and the last things your parents would like you to listen to, but many of them are composed by genuinly good people with integrity. My hat off to this good artist for being authentic and displaying integrity.

Him and Tom Araya from Slayer are in these dark bands making the musical equivalent of horror movies and labeled as Satanic. But this guy collects & donates toys & I've never seen Tom Araya not smiling aside from while he's performing. & they're both suoer friendly. Nowadays it turns out its the pop stars that are the Satanists doing occult shit & having parties that you have to sign a non disclosure agreement to attend. The metal bands were singing more about corrupt government, greedy politicians and other things that are closer to the devil in disguise. Maybe that's why politicians tried to censor or label evil back in the 80s & 90s because they were exposing them & teaching kids about other types of evil demons and it reminded them of that Jesus fella who preached about false prophets and corrupt governments

Alex took a picture with me in 0 degree weather outside and walked through 3 yards of ice to do so. Before that, a kid waiting by the tour bus slipped as he was going to put his bass away and I shit you not, he pretty much drops his bass and runs over to check on and lift the kid up like a parent would. Cannibal Corpse isn't my cup of tea musically, but I absolutely love George Fisher as a person. He's the demonic roar behind a gorey, gruesome band... and yet in every interview he's as bubbly as a labrador puppy. My favorite moment is 7:42 when George says he "put a few [frogs] on hooks," growing up, and, seeing the interviewer's horrified reaction, clarifies that he meant for fishing, clearly worried that the guy would think he killed frogs for fun as a kid.
@progpowerfan4 жыл бұрын
George is such a pleasant man. Met him before a CC show and he went on and on about Warcraft and all his metal heroes( my Death shirt caught his attention and that's how the convo started). Very friendly and down to earth guy

As a guy who has serious issues with anxiety and depression, noticing George's constant twitching of his leg, something that I subconsciously do, leads me to believe that, on some level, he is not comfortable with being on camera like this, but will summon the strength to do it for his fans. Whether or not I'm right, much respect to him. \m/

That could be true but me and my father both sometimes randomly shake our legs like that. Idk it just feels good sometimes or I dont even notice.

I noticed that off the bat....I was "hoping" that it was a nervous twitch, and not onset of Parkinson's or MS. Got to see these cats at Mayhemfest. Of the fucking chain. People don't realize how musically tight and talented you have to be to pull this off live.

I saw cannibal corpse at freebird live a while back, and george is such a cool dude to meet & hang with. I distinctly remember him introducing a song about his "favorite past time: stabbing people" and through the silence in the crowd I shouted "hey, me too!!". Dude actually stopped, looked at 16 year old me & said something along the lines of "well it's rare to meet someone who shares the favorite pastime of stabbing people" and went in to the song like it was nothing. Class act, cool as fuck dude, and when I met him he was super in to world of warcraft.
