In one of his last visits with Megadeth to my country, Argentina, a boy who was going to see them was stabbed and robbed and Dave went to visit him at the hospital. Not only that, but inside the hospital, he told the journalists who went to interview him: "Have respect, you are in a hospital", to which everyone lowered their tone. Great respect for Dave Mustaine!

I knew Dave in the early days as a college DJ and he was a supreme prick. Looking for fights, pointing a gun at a girl's head backstage, etc. Huge ego and no appreciation for the only ones at the time giving Megadeth any air play. I saw him again backstage during the Countdown tour years later and he said "I know you. The college guy, right?" Couldn't have been nicer. Sobriety did Dave Mustaine right. Glad he grew up and became a good person.

I love Dave and the musical work he has done . Just a genuine and honest person . Seems to be allot of Metalica fans in these posts ( a band I also like ) , just remember , the members of Metalica are far from being perfect people , and the same could be said about all of us . They have all come to terms with their past , I hope we can too .

Dave Mustaine is an amazing musician and person. "Dystopia" is an awesome album. Which if you are a Megadeth fan, I'm sure you have it and know what I'm saying. After fifteen studio releases, there's no sign of slowing down, and I pray they never will. I love the live releases as well because a lot of live versions are better than the studio versions, which to me is the sign of an amazing band. Dave Mustaine and Megadeth are the greatest metal band in my opinion. If you don't have the "Rude Awakening" dvd yet, I highly recommend it, you will not be disappointed. Long Live Megadeth!!!

I was wary of organised religion from an early age too. It took me years to find out Yâhusha never sanctioned any kind of digmatic religion. He just wants us to love one another - regardless of prejudices generated in this world. Dave is a phenomenal artist.

Mary Anne Fontana-Rosato Dave is a good guy and I don't think he thinks he's too young I just think Dave is tired and he's getting pretty old, rocking that hard for 30 years wears on you
@Allisonmarie5678 жыл бұрын
Mary Anne Fontana-Rosato It didn't help that he mentioned Metallica in the beginning, either. The glare Dave gives this kid after he mentions them had me cracking up, because you can just feel his frustration. I can't really blame Dave for being the way he was. Hearing this kid ask some of these obnoxiously obvious questions was starting to annoy me, also. Word of advice kid, if Dave sits in a chair with his arms crossed and he's giving you the glare, just stop talking. Haha

Rocknrollaforever45 it’s not a straight interview, they’re going through his wiki page to see if it’s accurate or not. Everyone has seen the shitty behind the music and knows this shit
@beachgirl45835 жыл бұрын
Seth J. Hammons, Musicians’ Wikipedia pages are a mess. The ones I personally know are full of misinformation. I watched this to see if a blatant lie about a “prospective” Megadeth guitarist made it to the questions, but it didn’t.

It's amazing just how much I have in common with Dave... I was also a Jehovah's Witness until my mid teens, I also had an abusive and alcoholic father who we had to keep moving away from. I also gave my life to guitar playing and writing Metal music. And though I never did heroin, I spent years addicted to Methadone(synthetic heroin) and did weed & alchohol most of my life. I am also now a born again, protestant Christian who no longer plays pro satanic songs or songs against Christ and I'm also a Truth-er who researches conspiracies(theories & facts). I'm sure there's more but I think it's pretty clear I've lived a somewhat parallel life to Dave's. May God Bless him, me and all of you!

The greatest thing, that I see, about Dave...is how to this day he's so incredibly humble. He's had his moments where he was "Dave MoF'n Mustaine!"...but he's honest and isn't trying to prove anything anymore..just grateful/thankful. And for that I thank him 🙏🙌..oh and Social Distortion' 'Wreckage From the Past'(1995) is a sweet set! 👌
