Carole King said in an interview once that “You’re so vain” was affectionately about Warren Beatty. My BIL told us for years that he dated Farrah Fawcett in college (UT). We never took him seriously. Then at a class reunion, someone gave him a photo they had taken of him and Farrah together. He was royalty to us then! 😂 I enjoyed the ride, views, chat and information. 👍🏼

Good morning! Woo that’s warm in Philly. Bailey was so confused by our frontage road signs, he thought that was the name of the road. The highway system is different here, he wasn’t used to access roads. 😂 That’s a pretty area of Corpus with the houses along the coastline. Oh, wow, so pretty with the water on both sides of the road, don’t think I’ve been to that area. Some people do take advice from homeless guys in Texas! So many bases and posts used to be wide open. Hey Lisa. Good morning friend. I think the first time I learned about frontage Road I was driving from Philadelphia down here to Texas. I was amazed that no matter when I got off the highway the name of the road was frontage road. That took me about a day to figure out. It is a very nice area once you get past the college. I see a lot of people fishing there on the weekends. I hope you're doing well today, friend

Oh my this was interesting to watch as haven't been or seen this far down this road. Really enjoyed the ride being able to see a different part of Corpus Christi. It was suppose to rain and flood a lot of the area but didn't get it. Need to work on getting the window a/c ready for use as the humidity has not been to good. Hope you have a great day! Hi, Dennis. What a lovely drive along the bay, with the beautiful houses and parks. Thank you! When you crossed Ennis Joslin Rd on your way to the scenic Texas A&M campus, you were not far from where I live. We sometimes get planes flying in formation, low and noisy, in training runs from the NAS. Do you ever cruise around Flour Bluff? There's a small airport way out on the south end, several marinas and a few RV parks here and there, not to mention the big HEB Plus and a lot of waterfront homes of a much more modest nature than the ones on Shoreline and Ocean. Good rusty stuff, too, as I recall. Hope you have a good weekend.

Hey Charles. That is great news about the prosthetic buddy. I hope things go as well as possible. The wind always makes it a challenge. I have to be facing one way and using my truck as a shield or I have to do a lot of overdubbing with narration and sound. Literally three times the work.

Nice drive Dennis! Problem with the rain there (and here) is it all falls in about 3 or 4 months time, lol. Folks just north of Houston are getting a serious rain dump right now, flooding, schools closed, evacuations, the usual, it's pretty bad today. It's all going to come down the rivers too so more flooding yet to come. Oh, TAMUCorpus is in a prime spot isn't it?! Have not heard an update on that missing young male student from there in over a month. I'm thinking you probably heard about it, I think back in March. It is so sad. And weird. Do you know if Al Capone's Yacht is still in the Bay? Also I keep looking for Dr. and Mrs. Jenkins house is still there. A long ranch style house with brick wall all around. Doc cut my wisdom teeth out or more like busted them out for a chord of fire wood and a lot of maintenance on their beautiful home. They were such WONDERFUL people and looking back I should have stayed. A lot of good funny story's right there. The teeth deal was an act of our father because of the way it came about. funny. Hello friend. There is usually a very good breeze blowing here. The problem is the humidity just makes it so much hotter. Having a fan is great, but the only way I've found that will really cool off. My phone fast is to actually stick part of it in the AC vent. if I put a fan across the wall, he was filming all he would hear is the wind on the microphone. It's always a challenge.
