Corpus Christi Tx Marsh Fishing!

After the CCA Tournament concludes, I decided to pay the Nueces River Delta a visit on the hunt for Marsh Donkeys. I knew the water would be high, which makes getting into this area much easier but makes finding Redfish difficult. I managed (2) Redfish the last catch I left out of the video to get to the point of safety out here.

Fished this area many times and yes keep an eye out for boaters especially with duck hunters out. Also a google maps will help tremendously because everything looks the same. Great safety tips Lara!

I have fished both of those bridges in Rincon bayou , With plastics and live mullet, I used to walk like 2 miles from the road back before the new road,I've had some Awesome 👍 fishing back there.. one of my favorite places to fish of all time...💯 Great Video!! I miss that place, hopefully I will be back there soon.

I used to fish the ship channel at the lift bridge in the winter. We would fish at night, right in the middle of the coldest of cold fronts, mostly with MiroLures. There was a shallow area to wade, with a great dropoff that the fish would run to pick off bait. We caught so may big trout that a 25" fish didn't even raise an eyebrow. I'm convinced that there are state record trout up in there as we speak, but the whole thing is shut off and under the control of Homeland Security now. I only mention it because it's not too far from where you were fishing, and on some nights the herds of redfish would move through and we couldn't get a lure through them to catch trout. Mostly that was during/after the first couple of fronts, before it got super cold.

You should not be showing people that spot you're screwing everybody that comes through that shortcut in their boats because if they have to slow down because you're there they have to come off plane and their props going to the mud we don't need a bunch of people back there thrashing and throwing their trash out all over the marshland
