I know this piece well. Played it in college. This is one of the best interpretations I've ever heard. And the tone. I love it!

Listened to someone play this at a concert a couple years ago when I was a freshman. I'm a junior right now. After this year's solo and ensemble contest I'll be working on this and Clarinet Concerto 1, M3 of von Weber (also heard my freshman year) to wrap up my senior year with my two favorite solo's that made me want to major in music performance. Excellent recording, makes me really excited to learn this.

@ahlevoy3435 decided to delete everything after figuring that he got to the level he's at only by being spoiled? he probably got those clarinets as birthday presents. i remember being so desperate to get the clarinet model he has (an R13) as a high school senior for TMEA but i never got one and never qualified. i noticed he was never able to give advice to people who wanted to know how he got his tone quality so yeah...
@jeremiahlevoy34358 ай бұрын
@@qekruxt5089 honestly in my opinion you can’t rlly give advice on tone quality bc it’s different for everybody and so what if he has an r13 that doesn’t make a big difference on if you make it, if your good enough u can make a bad clarinet sound good. My state is rlly competitive and I made a state and I use a resonite model. So womp womp ig

I'm interested in the Corrado Signature Bb Mouthpiece but have questions: 1) Why doesn't it have a cork according to the website pictures? 2) What Vandoren mouthpiece is it closest to? I haven't played in 32 years and was looking to get back into it because my daughter is learning. I'm used to the 5RVlyre and B45 but I always had problems with notes past high E (past high C). Thanks!

Stunning, as one would expect of the great maestro. Everything is saved by the ridiculously magnificent playing of the Allegro Vivo. (It's a shame about the decidedly unpretty sound (and intonation!) on the beautiful Andante theme.)
