2020 US Election chart has Virgo on the MC, ruler Mercury (Republicans, Trump). Not Leo MC. Interesting chart and technique with Neptune in Pisces ruling the 4th in the 4th (Democrats, Biden). Speaks volumes for that election! Thanks for sharing.

@LaurenDelsackAstrologer thank you for adding your interpretation. Yes, MC ruler of the 2020 chart is Mercury, but Sun rules the 10th House (leader, incumbent party). - Callum

@@KeplerCollege The MC IS the cusp of the 10th house just like the IC is the 4th house cusp, the Ascendant the 1st house cusp. I don't know what Astrology or house system you are using to say that a previous sign (Leo) to the MC 10th house cusp (Virgo) and say it's part of the 10th house? Completely nonsensical, sorry, but I can only wonder 🤔 how you derive that. Oh well at least the technique shared is interesting.

@@LaurenDelsackAstrologer We are not looking at quadrant house systems in these examples. All of the charts are in a Whole Sign house system. In this system the MC can land in other Houses other than the 10th H. In this case, the ruler of the MC (Mercury) is not the same as the ruler of the 10th house (Sun). - Callum

The president deals with power and enforcing the laws since it is part of the executive branch. "power, the ability to control others and which group will be able to translate it's preferences for behavior or values Into the operating rules for others." This is conflict theory, sociology textbook, p. 55 Sociology, the Core, Zanden. I agree that the impersonal archetypes work through individuals, the collective conscious and unconscious zeitgeist. This is important since every natal chart like an event chart has personal inner planets and impersonal outer ones. Jupiter and Saturn would still have an impersonal aspect like positive and negative values, politics and the laws which limit and restrict us. I agree that it would be a mistake to interpret an election chart from only the subjective personal planets. I also agree that a technique, aspect, etc.,used in predicting elections should ideally work to predict every election or at least most of the time which requires research on a lot of election dates. That is not done here, but only a few elections. predicting a few is no big deal. I've tried eight elections, but I only got five correct and three wrong. I've looked at 24 elections in the past back to November *, 1932 FDR's first election. I don't recommend going any further back than that because the democratic party and republican party become harder to differentiate as far as political ideology is concerned. I don't think a traditional astrologers would argue against the idea in psychological astrology that we can derive one's political values from the chart of the president such as conservative Saturn, Liberal Uranus, or Jupiter which represents politics, law, religion etc. The idea as those values should fit in with the collective on election day or sometime within a year or more after. My point is that what ever prediction technique that one uses, anyone including astrologers should be able to corroborate it, that is why a democrat won or a republican won. In other words, the reason why they won should be reflected in the horoscope symbols. The astrologers that I have talked to in person and e mail told me that presidential elections are notoriously hard to predict one even saying they are impossible which means that it is difficult to find one technique that predicts the election. I don't mean only one election or getting a lucky guess which is why astrologers want have the prediction technique work all the time or most of the time. One has to use more than one aspect etc. since the complexity in predictive astrology is often underestimated.
